You've done a great job with the car mate since I saw it at Beryl's Café. That powder coating really sets the wheels off nicely against the bodywork. Wizard sounds great. Enough to turn heads but not at all offensive. One of the greatest engines ever created deserves to be heard after all. For me, silver/grey for the fuel rail. It's actually a very prominent part and I think black would be too heavy on the eye. Those rocker covers and trumpets are the stars of the show. Superb 916 and a first class watch. Well done chaps.
I have the same spec (v6 spider, silver over red), such a fun and under appreciated/rated car. Yours looks great. I'm more of a teledials kind of guy and prefer the spider without the roll bars, but each to their own - I think your wheels do look good though and suit the spider. My spider is currently with the mechnaic getting a Single Mass Flywheel, 3.2 GTA clutch, Quaife and front end suspension rebuild so I cant wait to get it back and take it for a decent drive and see the difference. Your video is making me miss my spider even more!
You're one of the first folks who's pointed out that a 'sporty' exhaust is actually not a good thing for the Busso V6, since the sound you really want to hear is from the engine itself - the mechanical sounds emitted by that special V6. I have a GTV6, and pulled off the ANSA exhaust the PO put on, and replaced it with the stock exhaust. Now, the music is all there to enjoy!
Beautiful, LSD is a game changer, I own one with (Quaife) & had at the same time one without and the drive/handling with an LSD is amazing, feels like the front is on rails in the lanes Also consider a short shifter for the gears if you dont already have one fitted (Totallyalfa/EbSpares) makes the gear changes allot crisper. Alfa Clutch?, there were some issues some tme back with batches of 3.2 (Valeo i believe) clutches slipping, was enough of a worry for me to send mine back to Alfa workshop amd switch to an Alfa one (might add the clutch/Skinned flywheel & Quaife LSRD are still all on the shelf im the garage).the car post resto was sold on.. expensive spares LOL.
Great video and yes it sounds great both. I like the little mention too 😊 I will have to get you to video mine to compare the sound at some point. Difficult to tell fully how it sounds from the road side while I'm behind the wheel.
Nice video. I think the roll hopes look great. I have a GTV 3.0 V6 '98 model. With regards to exhaust sound, Wizard made me a quad system which is louder than yours and I love it! Yes some folks might say too loud, but can a Ferrari like exhaust note ever be too loud? Love the wheels and the black finish on the engine covers looks amazing. I will join you with a deck chair to stare at that beautiful Busso.
Love the car it’s a beauty. Just throwing my two pence in I’m not a roll hoops fan and a bit of a purist on aesthetic things. Speaking of which, maybe I’m alone but I like the character of the single oval shaped stock exhaust over the twin pipes. No idea if returning to the original tip would keep the enhanced exhaust note but toned down a touch - would that work? I’m with you on the wheels though, I’m not crazy about teledials and those GT alloys really suit the car so good shout. Cheers (I drive a 2.0 GTV with no mods)
Beautiful spider, i have a 3.0 litre coupe with alfa jetfins which suit the car perfectly, but will admit to having a soft spot for teledials, am undecided on the wizard exhaust, yours does not sound as loud as others i have heard....does it have a middle silencer? great video, love your content.
@@g4zzauk It’s a single silencer and standard Wizard set up as far as I know. Others are quad pipes that make it sound louder and some owners replace the down pipes and delete the cat which makes it louder. Thanks for your comments about the content.
The Spider is still so beautiful. What a lovely sound .
I reckon fuel rail would look good in silver, body matched. Chrome will detract from those lovely trumpets. Looking stunning now!
One of my favourite Italian cars. Looks ace

love the exhaust sound and personally i like the roll hoops. i think that add to the sporty look.

Respect ❤❤❤

Exhaust too loud, high flow air filter is the key to the sound
It sounds horrible....bit like a Subaru
