Maybe it depends on if the mother will be able to support the child herself. I doubt it happens often but I can see why they allow this. If I woman keeps a baby a man doesn’t want (and he vocalizes this) I do agree the man should have this right. I just seen an instance where a woman kept a baby AFTER asking for abortion money (they agreed upon abortion, but she kept the money and the pregnancy). In this case the man has every right to signs over his right. I think it depends but your right it does free them from financial responsibility.

Diamond was a whole vibe and I was falling for her right up until the end. 1 she put her hand up in his face and told him to shut up then 2 they way she handled the whole situation of him signing over his rights makes me believe that she had told him before the show that if he IS the father he has to sign over right if he wants to keep her and her child in his life.
The bm wanted him to sign his right over I told him he should take care of the baby but I can't make anybody do anything I called the show because she kept texting me about him not the child I lovee kids I have no problem because it's a baby because I been knew about her she just disrespected my child so I can deal with her

He’s a whole parade of red flags. The girlfriend is arrogant and dumb to think that won’t be her in a few years (I’m being generous in thinking he doesn’t have a side chick currently). He has an established pattern and has shown to her face how easily he will walk away from his child. He’s not a man but a boy. And I bet years from now he will be looking for handouts from the same child he turned his back on today. He’s a deadbeat. That leopard won’t change his spots and the girlfriend will be the biggest fool out of everyone because she’s riding this runaway train wide open like she’s special and won’t get caught in the derailment. While you are 100% on point, I ain't letting Jasmine off the hook (mother of the daughter in question) here. What really got me angry is that at one point she says 'it's not my fault I slept with (Mario)'...unless somebody put a gun to her head or took out a knife and threatened to cut her throat or something else of extreme duress, she's 50% responsible whether she chooses to admit it or not. When a woman sleeps with a guy and has sex with him, she can be selecting the father for her child should she get pregnant. I swear some people are just so enamored by 'whoopie love' that they lose sight of the big picture... 😞😞
This speaks to his girlfriend as a woman with a child of her own. If he could do it to 1 child he definitely knows is his, he could do the very same to hers. But, he's no man at all if you use the excuse of being a state away to stop you from having a relationship with your child. It's sad he's making it more about her mom than her.

This whole story/situation is a hot ass mess on all sides. Jasmine saying “it ain’t my fault I got pregnant by the dude/bum” or whatever tf she said…. I know the adrenaline is pumping… & when you’re in the heat of the moment & emotions are all over the place, you’re not always aware of what you’re saying. But girl really? If you willingly had unprotected sex.. YOU ARE PARTIALLY RESPONSIBLE… accidents happen, but that’s a greater risk/chance you take when you don’t use protection. You sure as hell didn’t do anything to stop it. Children are & should be off limits regardless.. however, I get if someone comes for your child, you’re gonna hit back (verbally or physically). Whichever one started it, is childish af for stooping so low. He may be the father & as I said it’s a mess on BOTH sides. But (regardless of what she said about not needing him etc…) Jasmine is the type of woman who would make it impossible for a man to even TRY and be in his child’s life. However (as a father) making the child suffer & miss out because you don’t want to deal with the mother, is so f’d up. Man or woman this is why you need to be careful who you sleep/get involved with. I understand you can know someone for years & still have it turn bad.. but s**t like this… the only one I feel for in the end, are the children/is the child. It’s moments like this, that lead to siblings never knowing about one another, not finding out about each other until years later… if at all. So sad/heartbreaking. F’d up situation on ALL sides.
