'Jedi Ninjas' a Team2X production. Produced by James Mark and Yung Lee (GakAttack). Directed by James Mark and Justin Lovell. Action Designed by and Featuring Team2x. Visual FX by Yung Lee (GakAttack)
Jedi Ninjas was developed as a passion project to recreate the current style of Star Wars action seen in video games into live action. This style often combines elements of Force powers with the use lightsaber combat. As there are no upcoming live action Star Wars movies to this date, this was a project to make many of the fans' dreams into a reality.
Team 2X is a professional martial arts performance consisting of members with experience in Hollywood films and television. With their unique talent in creating mind blowing fight sequences and GakAttack's passion for combining Visual FX with Martial Arts action. Jedi Ninjas became the result of this collaboration.

I showed this to my non-nerd friend at work and she was surprised at the ending. She couldn't believe adults would do this. Oh, my little naïve grasshopper. You have so much to learn about the force.

I'd prefer actually good swordsmanship, to be honest. Lightsaber fights nowadays have way too much jumping, spinning, twirling, and dancing. I just wanna see Jedi fight like people who are actually trained to use a sword, much less one made of molten plasma and death.

If you expect Star Wars to emulate something realistic, then you're watching the wrong franchise. The whole point of Star Wars and fantasy in general is to break from the norm. If I want something with "practical" sword fighting (which seems to be the hip thing on the internet nowadays, thanks to Skallagrim) then I'll watch a HEMA competition or a movie from the history genre.

That moment when the line between awesomeness and nerdiness becomes increasingly blurred...
I liked this, it showed them using more of their force powers in combat rather than relying on force powers of saber skills independently like in the films.
Did the "Jedi Ninjas" even have the force? They didn't use any force lighting or force push. Either that or their just slow and inaccurate :P
But i agree it was a great fight anyhow.
tony C well what u have to keep in mind is that this was a jedi MASTER against a bunch of puny assassins who didn't even know their own force abilities. So compared to taking on the sith lord at the end, it was just childsplay for the Jedi

The props they use for the lightsabers would have a hard time not breaking due to the strength of each swing an actual martial arts expert would use.

Also, with the proper training, a Jedi can do almost anything a Sith can do. They don't because it is against their code/rules.
thats why the jedi suck they deemed the dark side evil because they couldnt understand it the dark side isnt evil the people who use it are evil
Of course, there are things a sith can do that a jedi can't do and vice versa. I don't think jedis can use force lightning and I don't think sith can heal wounds. (not in the same way at least). just for the record, everything I know about star wars is from 2 games and a few books, so it may be complete bullshit.
yup, Jedi have been able to use a form of lightning, and sith have been shown to heal ;)
also as shown in star wars rebels the jedi have animal empathy
iwllkllyoo1 Actually alignment with different sides of the force does effect one's force capabilities. Jedi cannot use force lightning, the exception here is former Sith or Dark Jedi converting to the light side, as these individuals maintain some connection to both sides of the force. These would include Galen Marek and Revan. Some Dark Jedi such as Vader (Yes he is a Dark Jedi, not a true Sith) can retain some semblance of force healing, although to greatly diminished effect. These are only two examples, but there are many Light/Dark side specific techniques.
Darth Trymuss Not quite. While saying that the Dark Side is evil may be an oversimplification, it is most definitely malicious. It, like the light, is fueled by emotion, but unlike the light, it draws from rage, greed, sorrow, and hate, rather than love, compassion, serenity and wisdom. This causes all dark side users to be inherently dangerous, volatile and malicious. In a Sith's mind, all that matters is power and control. Compassion and care is for the weak, and the weak have no place among the living, save as slaves. Sith believe that might makes right, and this largely stems from their Dark Side connection and use.
Now that I think about it, saying the Dark Side is evil may not be such a oversimplification after all.

Although it was very short, this is one of the most kick ass lightsaber fights I've seen in a while.
