Karrigan is easily my favourite, peaking at 32 when most players retire in their 20s is so admirable. Love how he plays with the crowd, so charismatic and fun to watch. Thanks for the video pingu.
Videos like this makes me really wish Valve would add more maps and see what the community thinks. I get they don't for the competitive scene, but as someone who isn't very competitive, it can get boring playing the same maps for about 8-10 months
Bit late to this comment but what the hell. I dont mind new maps. I like playing the same old maps but I would love more variety. The problem is, look at the maps Valve added in the past couple years. Anubis is still terribly T sided after several reworks. Vertigo is still boring and unbalanced after several reworks. It just doesnt seem that Valve or the mappers are capable of making maps that are balanced, with maybe a small CT side favor, that are fun to watch and playable in both pro scene and on matchmaking. Maybe they should let go of wanting every matchmaking map be good for pro play as well. Idk.
SyrsoN is my favorite current pro player, whenever he has a scout in his hand crazy stuff happens. Also, thank you for this video & highlighting mappers - I've been casually mapping since CS:S just for the pure enjoyment of it.
forsaken is my fav, his spray transfers were immaculate and his gamesense is second to none, not to mention his excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite of apps, especially word.exe
gotta say you really found a perfect spot in the CS:GO comunity on UA-cam. It feels like you really care about the game and have genuine interest in the history aswell as wanting to share that interest with us. Whilst 3kliksphilip talks more about technical aspects of the game you take care of historical stuff and the gaming experience, always put it in context of how we could learn from the history in terms of what the future might hold for us. Great and super creative videos, keep it up man :D
I've always been a big fan of Tarik, when he played CSGO. I even named my alt account CLG Tarik ahahah. not happy about the dust change to anubis, dharma looks amazing btw would love to see it in play! that Falcion Black Laminate is one of my top 3 fav falchion skins so this would be amazing for me!
I dont know many pro players, but pashaBiceps has always seemed like a good dude. Great video! I love seeing where the custom map community is right now. I did a map in the past that wasn't good by any measure, but the temptation to get back to mapping is strong. Only stronger now that I've watched this video. Where did you hear about these custom maps by the way?
Good video and welcome back from your break. My favorite player of all time is definitely GeT_RiGhT. I remember my first time seeing a pro match of CSGO which was between NiP and VeryGames. His name was most eye-catching and upon learning his story as a CS player from 1.6 to Global Offensive has been such an awe-inspiring tale.
Crazy youve gained 40k subscribers so quickly, I remember being subbed around sub 1k. Content is phenomenal as always, keep it up! Favorite player is between the GOAT and arT. S1mple is S1mple and arT’s aggressiveness is a thing of beauty to see at top level.
Karrigan is probably my favourite guy out of the csgo pro scene. He has a lot of experience in the team leader position and a long history of bizzare strategies. And of course we cant forget his csgo moment with the deagle on the dust 2 A site
Great videos! iM, and Get_Right are for sure my favourite cs players, iM because i'm proud to see him representing my country at the major (Romania) and Get_Right because he has such a long history with the game.
Nice video! As a mapper myself i really enjoed it. Btw my favourite pro player is jame also, speaking of Teichos, valve have added maps with csgo's default assets in the past
Glad you came back, the chill tone in your videos is soooo nice. Also I would say that Yekindar is currently my favorite csgo pro. I love how he's not respecting his opponents, no matter about the level or notoriety he just play.
I love all of these vids you do talking about maps, giving those who work many hours on these a nice spotlight. and I have to say my fave pro is M0nesy.
hey great video, searched for soemthing to motivate me to get back to mapping for CS,, and found this video! :) thanks for making this and showing how much we all appreciate csgo's stranger maps thesting out new things/layouts! //Pingu
Creating maps is super hard. Making the map look good, original and balanced for both t and ct side must be work for days. My favourite player is Dupreeh. Thanks for the vid!
xyp9x has always been my favourite player ever since I started playing csgo in 2018. Back then i didn't have any knowledge about cs at all, but his and Astralis's gameplay just looked so incredibly skillfull
Skadoodle gotta be my favorite player. It's hard between him and Twistzz, but he takes the edge. I loved watching him on IBP then coming back with c9 in Boston was one of the best CS moments ever
My favourite pro player is probably Twistzz. He's just a pleasure to watch, mechanically gifted, consistent and always pulling off things that have me saying "he's not going to pull that off" but more often than not he does!
The mapping is really interesting aspect of cs:go. I remember the times when 3kliks hosted his custom gamemode competition. It was a blast playing with nice people on uncovered grounds! The problem is, people don't like playing new maps. A lot of people just play d2 or mirage and stick with it (including myself back then!). For example, the recent change about Anubis brang a lot of hate, but im sure people will get into it after the major! Oh and i think my favourite pro is Twistzz, his hairstyle is so cool and he gets some sick aim clips.
JACKZ is my favorite player. He may not be hugely famous or appreciated, but he was so chill and kind at IEM Dallas 2022. Made me an instant fan of him. Hope he finds more success after G2 and doesn't disappear.
Cologne 2019 was the first cs event I ever watched live (I would get Warowl breakdowns in my recommended and watch them sometimes, but would never actually watch the games as they happened). I rooted for liquid because, well, I'm from NA so why the hell not. Them being good also helped I guess lmao. I had been watching the tournament since pretty early on, and I watched the entire grand final from start to finish. Twistzz's deagle 1v4 on overpass was the first time I got super hyped from a play and truly understood what cs esports, and really esports in general, could bring to an audience as entertainment. After that I became both a liquid fan and a Twistzz fan and I still am today. He's also just a cool guy. Had the chance to talk to him for a bit when the whole Liquid+ thing first started (over discord), super chill and super nice dude. Peak of professionalism and sportsmanship while also being a super sick player.
Right now, my favorite pro player is Fallen. He's just so fun to watch, not to mention one of my old gamertags was FallenHero. But that was over a decade ago now.
Always exited to see an upload from you! Fav csgo pro has to be Device. I'm really exited to see him come back and I hope he'll manage to lift Astralis to something more exiting what they are now.
I've played Dharma on one or two occasions and liked that tactial possibilities of it, although it is a bit overwhelming at first. The other two maps shown in the video look interesting as well, though I think the last one suffers problem which you mentioned plus the existence of Ancient, which I for myself really like. Coming to pro players, I am a huge fan of f0rest, especially his dedication to the game and his will to get back to a major (too bad it didn't happen). If active pro player, I'd go with tabseN, mainly for the same reasons, plus what he did for the german CS scene.
You could definitely add "monthly workshop highlights" to your upload schedule if you're ever feeling sparse for content. I know that I would watch every single one of those, and judging by your viewership and previous content, it would be a healthy thing for the channel; not to mention, fun to do. Spotlighting the communities work is great for mappers too.
My favourite csgo player is Fallen, I even had a rock band with his name. I love his igl and the incredible skill he displayed in his prime Very good video btw, you're getting better
Congratulations to 40k subs, remember seeing your "old" Videos of the Rework problems or obsolute callouts, really enjoyed those. my favourite cs players.. damn, s1mple, rigoN, arT, sdy, there are just to many tbh.
Turbine is fucking awesome, the level of detail people put in little details on these kinds of maps is incredible. must've taken so much time aye? If this video were dropped a tiny bit later we could've seen your reaction to the anubis - dust2 change, honestly love that map and would have loved hearing some commentary on it. Now about my favorite bro player... I'd say Sinnopsyy very underrated, otherwise it'd be dupreeh (idk why, just looks very likeable)
It is awesome (ha-ha) that you came back. I subscribed just some days ago but like your videos pretty much. As an old fan of CS:GO I still think that Zues was if not the best then the coolest person and pro player I've ever seen even he's not on the scene anymore. I hope I will win!
JAME TIME! Favourite cs pro so far. BEAST MODE on last major. Before Jame get into pro cs scene I like Flusha the most. His Vac moments will stay in my memory for long time)
The oneway drop near connector on Dharma reminds me of de_amigo from WarOwl, he experimented with a oneway drop on middle and it was kinda interesting, I don't remember if he kept it for the "final" version though. I never followed the pro scene closely, but I remember seeing kennys clips from back in the day and getting hyped to finally get csgo. It's amazing that he came back recently and valve nerfed the wap a couple days later lol
MY favorite pro player is rain. As a support player his influence often goes unnoticed but if he has a chance to shine its really impressive how good of a player he is.
It's hard to pick a favourite one but since my first time playing cs was back in 1.6 golden age, I think Neo would be one of my favourite players and one that played this game on pro level for longest time
thank you for show casing turbine, I was born in the town basically built around the boom of the snowy hydro project which is what turbine is based off and when I played it a few months ago I was pretty impressed. I hope it becomes the first map set in australia to be part of the game 🇦🇺
I think one of my favorite pro players will always be flusha. Despite the hackusations back in the day, he was an amazing player and his clips from those days are always so fun to watch.
favorite player of all time - JW purely based on his gameplay, his movement is crisp smooth and i always loved the aggression awp style, too bad we wont be seeing it too much anymore especially since the 5 bullet awp nerf
My favorite pro CS Player is PashaBiceps :D PAPITO BANDITOOOOO. Very wholesome guy! ^^ PS. Penguin, do you watch Historia Civilis by any means? He's using the same track for his videos' endings. Appreciate the shout out for dharma, was a lot of fun to work on 🙂

His videos are top tier. Definitely deserves more subs
Xyp9x is my all-time favorite player, at his peak his playstyle was absolute art
Olof has gotta be my favorite cs player. He truly placed a magical spell on me back in 2014/2015
My favorite CSGO Pro has to be Olofmeister. I have never seen plays like the molotov defuse, or the overpass boost against LDLC from anyone else.
Flusha is my favorite player bro I miss him so many good saucy plays!!
Rain is my favorite pro. I just love the commitment he has shown to FaZe.
Art from Furia, just smart aggression, getting space and info for the team. such a great player
ayyy _High-Five_
I love that Jame went from a meme with questionable in-game practices to an extremely consistent and collected awper and igl.
KennyS for sure. Because of his unpredictable gameplay. btw great vid keep up. :)
Olafmeister's burning defuse on Underpass was such an iconic moment for me when I seen it live that it kinda cemented him as my favourite player
I love arT due to how creative he is and, despite his aggression not always paying off, when it does it’s so impactful
Jackz is like the funniest and most wholesome guy out there, easily my favorite.
he uses arrow keys still (like me)!.
Forsaken has to be the all time G.O.A.T
The pure reflex that man has is just insane.

I've really enjoyed watching perfecto. Dude has a real knack for cs and seems to always make the right decisions.

Karrigan is a sweetheart, man mapping is something else in which people somehow make the place feel real and balance
Jackz is probably my favorite player, he has always been the backbone of any team he plays and he is very reliable when you need him.
My favorite pro player is f0rest, I remember being kid and hearing about him as cs 1.6 pro and he is still around which is rare, he is a kind person.
Love EliGe, his game sense is always impressive. Great video, glad to be here for the exponential growth of your channel!
Im a big fan of the cod maps in the workshop like Nuketown, Killhouse, Docks, Shipment MW2019, Stack. Also a big fan of Dharma that you showed😊
olofmeister is the best cs player, he did so many great things in his prime
My favorite pro cs player is Skadoodle, super impactful AWPer when it counted and a really level headed and nice guy.
MY favorite pro player is rain. As a support player his influence often goes unnoticed but if he has a chance to shine its really impressive how good of a player he is.
Yekindar, his play style is so exciting, it has changed the way I play, now i love taking space and entries.
It's hard to pick a favourite one but since my first time playing cs was back in 1.6 golden age, I think Neo would be one of my favourite players and one that played this game on pro level for longest time
