J-E-N-O-V-A -Quickening- Mashup (Original+Quickening)

I don’t see any decent mashups of the theme on UA-cam (and Saipan Emperor Potara’s “mashups” are, frankly, steaming shit), so I made this. The best Jenova mashup on UA-cam!!! 8D I tried to incorporate Advent Children here (and I did! Really!) but the end result simply didn’t sound good. The guitars are so metal that they made the mashup staticky and blown up. The Dissidia 012 version I didn’t bother with, as it was too difficult. The others, I didn’t like enough for them to make the cut.
Anyway this incorporates original and the third movement version of the Quickening mix from Remake. Extending it (which I probably will this week) is very easy so I’ll update later.

I kind of wish it did that a little more. My one complaint about most covers of this song, including the version in the remake, is that they almost never have that unsettling feeling of wrongness to them.

@Brentticorn oh trust me, after jenova it becomes more apparent, the crazy motorcycle chase has a callback to crisis core in the intro, one winged angel becomes permanently distorted with the choir, and the midgar theme on the highway got swapped with an almost somber and quiet temple of the ancients. It's almost fucking creepy
