ARC 170 is probably my personal favourite but the Naboo starfighter is slick af out them all 😂
The Republic really had the best starfighters. The ARC-170, Y-Wing, V-Wing, and Z-95 are my favorite starfighters here.
The N1 is really cool too for a Non-Republic fighter used at the same time.

Not sure if this is canon or not,but in Legends,Anakin actually modified his Delta 7 to carry a hyperdrive as seen in the Clone Wars microseries
Alpha-3 V-wing and ARC-170 are my favorite Clone Wars-era Starfighters.
The ARC 170 is really cool to me. I like how it's got a rear cannon and the design is really cool to. My other favorites would be the BLT B Y wing and V wing which is really fun to use in battle front 2

Delta-7 was Actually nicknamed the Jedi Starfighter & the Eta-2 was nicknamed the Jedi Interceptor.
I think Republic land vehicles could be a good idea for a future video.

I do like the V-wing and Y-wing, and the Arc 170 sure looks cool. A video about star destroyers would be cool to watch.
My favorite Republic fighters are Arc 170 starfighter y-wing v-19 Torrent z-95 headhunter v-wing Detla-7 aethersprite and ETA-2 actis

I can see the RA modifying Clone Z-95s by making the wings foldable like the V-19 and adding a class 1 hyperdrive so they can fit more on their ships and use them for hype and raid tactics.
Agree the Z - 95 headhunters should’ve been equipped with a hyperdrive. Despite an additional bit of mass, they would’ve been more effective with one.
@@lukerayners6729 I also think a stronger power plant should be added on the Clone Z-95 to equal the shielding of an x-wing.

Why are people saying E.T.A. 2 for the Eta-2?
We've already accepted that Greek lettering is used in Star Wars ship names. The Delta-7. The Lambda and Nu shuttle. In Legends there are Delta, Gamma, and Epsilon transports, to name a few. But despite being just a few letters after Delta, Eta almost always gets called E.T.A.
I don't think Star Wars capitalizes the letters. I've only ever seen it written as Eta-2.
Wouldn't mind seeing videos on lesser known starfighters not immediately affilliated with any of the 4 major factions. Perhaps the R-60 T-wing or R-41 starchaser?

Huh I never knew until right now that the V-wing doesn't have a hyperdrive despite having an astromech. So does the V-wing make use of hyperspace rings like the Jedi fighters do?

Air superiority, ground assault, and recon, that's it. I mean think about all the money the republic could have saved (also f-4u Corsair is WW2 not WW1)
I love how the V-Wing was the Republic's slow, oafish bomber in the original Battlefront 2.

Why does so many starfighters have wing tip cannon whould it not be easier to use if the canon was closer to the pilot. Like in the v wing
Pretty sure wing tip laser cannons are done because it looks cool. Another explanation some people give is that it gives a fighter a wider shot pattern making it difficult for enemy's to evade.

I love the N-1 starfighter, but it was NEVER used by the Republic. It was only used by Naboo to defend the home planet, never to defend another Republic state.
That we know of. Just like how the Gungun Grand Army were deployed to to Mon Cala there is a possibility that the Naboo Royal Space Fighter Corp could have been deployed else were. Hehe probably not
@@ImNtDead like I said, I love the N-1 starfighter but realistically speaking it was a very inferior starfighter compared to other starfighters. It was more so for ceremonial show rather than practicality. A TIE fighter could run circles and destroy an N-1 and those were dispensable and cheap AF to make in comparison to an N-1.
@@iLive4HStyle I'm going to have to disagree. My understanding is that the naboo spare no expense so their engines are highly efficient and clean. The N-1 has a hyperdrive unlike many starfighters at the time. And on top of that just a handful of them took on the full fighter compliment of a droid control ship which is over a thousand. They might not be full on war veterans but they've probably taken on their fair share of pirates and what not. Plus if they were really all about ceremony they wouldn't have proton torpedo launchers. I'd say their greatest weakness is their numbers because their pilots are probably made up of Naboo's higher class citizens oh and that the N1 is probably really expensive compared to other starfighters.

The ETA-2 ACTIS, with a ring, and if I could toss on an aftermarket shield generator. The V-wing ESK looks pretty good, too.
The Delta7 B variant, also w a ring, is certainly cool, but with weaponry and shield mods. I’d also like the A version, but the fact that young Vader used it as his mount kinda soiled it for me - the actor was just too horrible. Same w the N1…maybe if there’s an N2, I’d fly it, but even-younger Vader was just too annoying to enjoy an N1. Sorry, what can I say?
