I found the way to get into the recovery. Just go to the bootloader and click the factory reset and then reboot and click recovery again. It works for me! Thanks for the great videos!

Jarred. I'm sure this is a stupid question/comment. I did this a while back, and to be honest have had no use for an unlocked phone. Now I can't get the OTA update released to Bell Mobility today. How can I revert to factory? Will the factory reset in the settings work? I've seen a few vids, but I liked yours as it dealt with Canadian carrier.

This however puts the M4 in another light, do you hereafter flash kernels in CWM/TWRP just like normal or do you have to use special program on your PC when switching MIUI to AOSP etc? Coming from Sony Ericsson to Samsung there is no way I'm not buying a phone with complicated kernel flashing.
Any idea when I select to go into Recovery the white HTC screen says entering recovery at the top for about 1 second, then it reboots normally into the OS? I've tried clearing cache, no change??

4.3 Has screwed up the battery life on my HTC One by a huge amount, so ive looked into custom ROM's and how to do that, and for someone not to familiar with rooting or anything of that sort (but general computer knowledge) would it be safe for me to try and do something like this ?

So do you have to keep it in the bootloader mode after you gain the unlock code to submit to HTC? As I only have access to the web through my phone. So can I boot my phone back up submit the code and then go back into the bootloader mode and do the rest of the steps fine?

It all worked accept at 12:24 when i pressed recovery, it quickly flashed the pink "entering recovery" words then just went to my lock screen instead of going to recovery. first i tried TWRP then i tried clockworkmod and neither worked. help would be appreciated, sorry for my noobness ive rooted samsungs but this ones allot different :/
I was able to do the entire process and it didn't wipe anything off of my phone..also when you pushed SuperSU to the phone at that point you can just disconnect there's no need to wipe the cache...just go into recovery and install SuperSU and that's it! I did this for both my HTC One and HTC First!
Nevermind, i went to factory reset my phone and it opened the TWRP recovery. lol I thought it might be because i had fastboot on in my htc settings. but i guess all i had to do was factory reset.. d: thank for the vid bro!
did the perm root 4 times already and failed.. instead of loading what was in the video my device just restarts and loads noting FUCK MY LIFE one more time and i quit this shit

Hey i clicked on the dev-host link and they changed it to say "One (ALL VARIANTS)" but then i clicked on it and there are no files in it...PLEASE HELP
