I have a M7 with a defective USB connector which won't allow me to connect to my MacBook for transferring files back/forth. But the connector will allow for recharging the M7 battery. This phone with AT&T is now out of warranty and cost is too high to fix. I was able to transfer files for backup using Send Anywhere app so I'm able to reinstall important backup files once routed. Which worked for me following a run test of a deleted file from phone that was sent directly via Mac back to my phone. According to your video you direct us to connect our phone with a computer/laptop. Considering my defective USB connector, how might I best proceed? Thanks!

you should have mentioned this would wipe the phone first. I have rooted before and it didnt. I followed your method and as I was saying Yes on my phone to unlock it, you said it would wipe the phone. That's unfortunate since the HTC One has no storage card.
you need to get other charger whit 2500 am and then your htc going to be charge i have the same problem long time ago and get other charger not original but much stronger and t his help me

Yeah. Luckily, my service being Sprint, I can unlock my bootloader without voiding my contract or upgrade. Instead, it voids my phone's repair-ability. Not a big deal for me as I take relatively good care of my phones.

i tried to loose cm11 and back to stock htc. ended up "tampered" and "relocked". and stuck at boot loop. help?

You need to download the adb and fastbootb file to your PC, then open a command prompt from the same folder
@@DroidModderX I downloaded them the first time I attempted this... That's why I"m confused that it isn't working
How many times did you have to hold the down button along with the power button before the screen actually came up? My phone keeps starting up.

Unlocks bootloader only. To unlock sim lock. There is a tutorial on xda to get your unlock code.
