A very famous singer always stays in this suite when performing in Japan. Who do you think it is?
Drake
Natsuki
@@Mryodamiles too much volcano indeed
Donna Burke ? (voice of the Shinkansen)
Hyde?
You had to one up Connor and I didn’t you, haha. This is glorious.
Chris sensei hello
The battle is on now lmaooo
🤣😆😅😂
Does it really matter since both hotels are owned by Hyatt?
*and me. 😜
Flashing up the floorplan diagrams when moving around is such a HELPFUL editing touch, and the overlay on Google maps regarding the floorspace was also so helpful. Really excellent video.
The GM in me agrees. 😅
I can’t get enough of looking at Tokyo real estate and your channel has the best stuff.
For those wondering, this room is over a million yen per night, working out at roughly £7000/$8500 per night (this is after taxes and service charges).
Appreciate you answering the question everyone had on their minds.
Not as much as I was expecting.
Kinda funky that this room is way less than the 12.000 dollar room Chris stayed in that was smaller and didn't have a pool.
@@ArchonCommando that's what I was thinking
The hotel I worked at had a couple different "Designer" suites. Nothing this elaborate, but 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, about 2000sq ft, big enough to throw a 15 person party. We RARELY charged the "rack rate" of $4000 a night(or whatever it was I don't remember). $2-3k a night sure, but a lot of times the people in those suites were the head person for the convention we had in the hotel(aka they're spending over 6 figures, give them the nice suite). Or celebrities, who often rented out most the rooms right next to that suite, we weren't going to charge them rack rate for renting most of one floor lol.
I love how different the vibe is when compared to the videos with Chris. I love his content as well of course, but its just an entirely different style when you are noticing all these little details of the brands and products that most tours wouldn't spot.
That pool is massive wtf :o
It is not fun if you have to turn many times in your hotel room swimming pool.
Yet it looks so shallow... .
Let me know when you want to stay -- I'll put in the good word!
that place screams trash taste party
@@epicthief maybe with a large, non-refundable deposit
That room (more like entire house in one space!) Is so fancy. The only thing is I don't feel like I could stay long term because it does feel so businesslike. Like I'm imagining business people holding big meetings in the living area. That pool is really standout, and takes it a step above.
My favorite hotel I ever stayed at was the Grand Hyatt in Kyoto many many years ago. I still remember that room fondly. Obviously, I was NOT staying in this kind of suite. But, a nice hotel room really does upgrade any trip.
they renovated recently.. check out the videos on youtube
we stayed at the Roku hilton in kyoto a few days ago and it was the best hotel experience i've ever had so far. We had the place all to ourselves, only a handful of guests. The outside geothermally heated pool was fantastic. I have watched videos of the grand hyatt in kyoto and it looks to be on par with the Roku in terms of room size and ammenities
You probably mean the Hyatt regency if it’s Kyoto~
Emily is a great host and GH must be proud of her….
Tokyo + Grand Hyatt = you know it's going to be amazing! Wow!
That outdoor pool is AMAZING! I'm in love with that view from it!
Now, I wish I could afford this. This looks amazing.
Almost stayed in this suite for a week when Japan opened back up for residents but not for non-citizens post Covid lockdown. I think it was less than $4k with the exchange rate at the time. Ended up staying with the fam because it’s been 2 years since I saw them. It’s now $9k even with the favorable exchange rate.
Wonderful, thank you so much for this upload. Luxurious hotels are my happy place. I'm guaranteed to feel instant joy when I enter a nice hotel, knowing what awaits. I love them so much and never get tired to seeing new options for my future travels (although a Presidential suite for a week long stay in Tokyo is not in my upcoming travel budget, ha!) Great upload as usual, terrific channel.
The rain shower head!!!!! I love those, want one please. The place is really impressive and legit man.
More hotelcontent please. Tokyo has a lot of very nice hotels, like the Peninsula, the Mandarin Oriental, two Four Seasons etc.
Would love to see more hotels with amazing rooms in Tokyo.
Great video, even after watching it a second time ;) I'm glad the videos are coming to this channel, so I know where to look when I finally won the lottery ;)
That was really interesting, would definitely love to see more like this!
Hyatt rocks. Never a bad stay.
Keep those videos coming Alex. This is slowly turning into my favorite channel.
That pool is huge and heated. Wtf man?!??? That’s nuts.😎❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yay! Looking sharp Alex! Great video
Because of my relationship with Shiva.. I dont think I'll ever give a Sh*t about designer brands, but the space, views, blinds and pool. -Love it.
The art in that suite is amazing, would stay there just for that
For a suite this luxurious I am wondering why the living room had a Sharp TV. Sharp are known mostly for their cheap TV's and not quality.
Sometimes there are contract agreements between hotel chains and manufactures to provide electronics, appliances, furniture, and such at lower costs in volume in order to expose a larger audience to the manufacture's products i.e. if you stay at a hotel that has a fancy coffee maker in the room that you like, then you might go home and buy one of the same brand. So, I imagine that could answer your question.
hand on the back good idea dont want to touch and damage the room lol . love your video. can you do property review in other city like osaka or in hokkaido ? thx
This is absolutely incredible! And props to you, very impressive knowledge on the arts!
Great video, was impressed by your art knowledge
Still loving your videos cant wait till your abandoned video comes out!
I would say the only mind blowing feature of that suit is the outdoor pool, at night it must be crazy with the city light
Amazing ❤️😍 love your videos. Hope one day I manage to at least visit some cool places like this :)
A new dream has taken place in my mind that needs to be satiated. 😂 Imagine staying somewhere like this?! Crazy!
Damn Alex I see those knuckles, who's ass did you beat?? 😂
Tokyo's a rough town
This channel will explode very soon.
Damn, a week in that suite will cost you $56K!! It better come with a pool!!! :)
Great video
If it takes up the entire floor why is in only one side of the building when they show an aerial view at 1:12 in the video ?
wow this is such a nice hotel to stay at!
Amazing suite!
I'm hoping for an impress Abroad love to see what Chris does/says about that suite
This is amazing
Amazing suite. Love the view of the Tokyo Tower and the outdoor pool.
Keep up the good work! :)
Wow!!
gorgeous
And they're wearing shoes in it!
Too cool !!!
those shoes with a suit is a crime
5:33 if i where to read the brand name as i do in my home country it say "clean" ( im danish and ren = clean )
Is this upFor sale?
I’d love to see your opinion on Dogen’s new house. It’s very unique and beautiful, mixing ancient Japanese architecture with modern. Check out his video “I Built My Dream House in Japan.”
But how much is it? I wanna know the absurd price. Did they mention it?
No Gucci. Just Noguchi. Love it.
If I won the lottery I'd stay there for a month!
Thank you for looking forward to see me but i can't afford this not even for one hour i'm sure xD
And the amenities are included in the price, like all the drinks in the fridge? (A room like this probably doesn’t have a “mini” bar.)
What's the first background tune!!!!?
At 1:35
the bathroom is the size of my house :O
Take a shot everytime alex says "wow"
Sloppy drunk. Now what
The pool is a dream for someone who loves private pools June 2022
Holy crap, this is overkill
Sorry, did they say how much it costs for a night? I must have missed that part.
SWEEET!
Did you know about those art pieces from your own interests or did you do some research before hand?
I just like art
Those white shoes must go...lol
I think I could live in a suite like that. Perfect for an old bachelor like me. I just need to find the cash...
Can any of these windows be opened?
I suppose your not going to say how much it costs as if you have to ask you can’t afford it.
Damn, son. Where you get that jacket?
EDIT:. Did not enter the bathtub, but extra points for that fine jacket.
The pool though is worth staying for even just for a night.
i really like your channel and the way you present everything. i was wondering if i could ask a question here regarding accommodation. i am relatively new when it comes to travelling but i wanted to stay in japan (tokyo) for 3 months to get away from everything here and just explore. i need a "homebase"- well a place to stay and i dont mind spending more on luxury. do you have any recommendations for renting a place for 3 months? the max ammount of money i could spend on housing is around 20k for the entire stay :D
I recommend looking at airbnbs!
They are probably the easiest to rent if you’re staying long term and offer many different types of houses and accommodations (affordable to luxury places) in many places of Japan!
@@Ohhcrystaal i had that in mind aswell but i feel uncomfortable staying at someone´s place :O
@@silentsnake820 then I would recommend long stay hotels. They usually have a small kitchen and washers in them
not too sure about the natural lighting in this suite - seems quite dark in places
I need to start buying lottery tickets so I can stay in this room.
I'm fairly certain Mozart is in the public domain.
And here I thought it was going to be That Pool....
Absolute insanity. The only way for the majority of us to experience something like this is through videos like these
I love looking at shit I can never afford!
We live in a society
We might need a new tier above presidential for describing these suites huh?
How about...Imperial
didn`t dare to mention the price. it is toooo expensive to stay for an ordinary person.
It's literally the sweetest suite. If I was filthy rich, I would live in that.
Meanwhile, Manhattan, NY City Grand Hyatt looks so rundown
Looks so cluttered and narrow though ..
I need to see her get in the pool to make sure it works
Did he say 18 or 19' 😂...last i checked one meter is 3 feet soooo umm yeah
Japanese people have such little intimacy that they have separate beds in hotels lol
It's a nice pool!
But it's not That Pool
But the furnishings look so brown and basic...😪
the fact that the trash taste guys could book this room for free in exchange for the promotion is hilarious
Nice but I couldn't stay in this suite with pillows with no less than a thread count of 601. Just saying 😂
There is no "center" of Tokyo :)
Chuo, Chiyoda, and Minato would like to have a word with you
what happen to your knuckles?? did you get into a fight? lol
Is that a woman’s jacket?
No
WTFFFFFFFFFFFF
Seriously this would have been nicer if you just let the girl talk and show you around without constantly interrupting her. And when you said that she "kept" pushing the special feature the entire time, I just rolled my eyes because it seem like "YOU" were the one that kept pushing it..... Anyways, It was a nice hotel room regardless
The suit is great, but cannot play out its potential. You haven't a good view all over Tokio, because of the wooden wall. The innerdoor badroom has no windows! The Tv is just to small. There are no paintings or eye-catcher at all. Even the outdoor pool has only white boring tiles. Why arent the any mosaics?
Was the iMac added for staging ua-cam.com/video/LEMm9v4PPyQ/v-deo.html . Having the optical drive means the newest it can be is a mid 2011 I believe. That would make it "obsolete" and not even "vintage" according to Apple. Apple authorized service providers can't even order parts for it. I imagine anyone doing even the lightest of tasks would have their own laptop though.
To be honest even if I had the money this wouldn't be the place of my choice.
The room ratio is terrible. These tube like rooms have the charm of a subway station, albeit a luxurious one.
The hardware is quite outdated and laughable. Be it the tv's, the hilarious cd/dvd-changer, an old apple computer. Really?
So no media-server, no 8k laser projector, no smart room managment via app and tablet?
Did I mention the tub that looked like it was bought at Home Depot. The pool with the appearance of a public bath.
Probably should stop here but I can't imagine people with money and exquisite taste being impressed by this, other than the view
For a tiny portion of the price you can get a personal onsen on a balcony in a traditional inn twice the size of that bath, genuinely, why didn't they do that? What??? So much space and they didn't do that? Wtf?
It's a grand hyatt not a traditional inn. Clientele is different. Also good luck trying that in the middle of roppongi lol
Yeah its super annoying how they always heat the pools, too hot for foreigners, you can't workout. Two beds are perpetuating the low birth rate for sure. No sex for anyone
A place that top 10% most earning people in world can only afford?
much smaller part of people or anybody from norway or switzerland could live there. Maybe for 0,005%
@@tuhnutuhnu4257 yeah buddy, I'm swiss, and no, we couldn't live there. Our median salary is high with around 6500 CHF/month, but that's just around 90万 - the presidential suite, however, is 100万 a night :)
So yeah, I guess a swiss person could live there for a day a month, spending all their money.
@@tuhnutuhnu4257 Do estate agents get paid well for advertising places that almost no one is able to pay for? :D
@@wekkimeif7720 Not expert but maybe idea is that if best room is that nice other cheaper rooms are really good too... :P
@@tuhnutuhnu4257 Yea perhaps that is it. Here I'm saving most of my life money and might be able to afford one old apt with 5 rooms using all my saving. Unless the Euro loses all it's value soon...
