- My first experiment with a 360 video. the technology still presents some challenges on youtube but let me know what you think in the comments below. I used a Rico Theta camera (not a sponsor) to make this video.

Am I the only idiot who sat staring at the curtains for awhile wondering why the camera wasn't moving?
You're not alone ;-)
Colin Green I did the same at first.
lol. yes i kept waiting for the tour to start lol
The room looks nice. Well planned and functional. I like the idea of 360...great set-up.
Then I saw it...
...the Doctor Octopus Toilet !!!...LOL.
Sorry, it kept drawing me back.
Slight arachnophobe here, and the first sight of it kinda triggered.
...spiders and chairs in horror movies.
...along with the fun adventure of Superheroes/villains.
Shower shelving-I designed using small slabs of slate I picked up from the ground on a walk about on family land in Rapid City SD. Had tile guy set slab pieces into corners of shower at differing heights that accommodate a variety of toilietries. Natural stone vibe against clear glass subway tile really turned out extremely cool. Treated slate slabs with same sealant used on tiles to waterproof. And Bam…done!
I love the 360 tours. Thanks!
This is probably the first non-gimickey 360 video I've seen. Dont know how it would fit a lot of your content on your other channel, but if you can that would be awesome.
yeah it was really just because i felt like i couldn't get all the shots in the conventional video. I think this would be good for a tiny house or van conversion.
I am really not a fan of 360 videos. But for this small room it was probably the best idea and it was well made.
Cool video
I know that you like to stick with inexpensive and easy to find materials, but all the waterproofing in the world will not perfectly protect cheaper woods from daily showers. I think maybe teak if you want to stick with wood. Ceramic tile floating corner shelves would be waterproof, but are more permanent. I think you could potentially build all ceramic shelving from tile.
hi ben, for your shower organizer concrete or tiles should not suit because it's heavy and need some structure. You can use waterproof materials like pvc pipes. Heat alows organic forms out of pu. But to me the key into watery environment is resin. You can make a plywood thing with epoxy resin protection. A fabric thing hardened by resin can be light and unexpected. Resin don't stick to packing tape if you need to mold or support a resined thing. Foam with a (coloured ?) resin coat is inexpensive and easy to make : utility knife, glue, brush and resin. It can be pretty strong too. Last : there's nothing as cool as a seat shelf into a shower place ! Thanks to inspire us day by day ;)
good ideas!
can anyone tell me what good is it using electric toothbrush?
here in Malaysia, electric toothbrush is not a trend, and most people just use typical toothbrush
I understand your comment on the off the shelf shower organizers. Like a year ago I bought some teak with the intent of making a shower caddy but couldn't settle on design. You should build one so I can copy it. :) Love your videos.
it was cool! i'd love to see more, but what interests me the most is the kind of hardware set up that allows for 360 videos
How cool is this 360??!! Wow. Is your washer/ dryer on the smaller size?
they are bosch and pretty typical stacking units
How bout a 360 workout routine with your homemade gear?
Where do I put my toothbrush?
First time to see a 360 video. I loved it. Your designs are inspirational. Rhiannon you for sharing.
Dang Ben, you've got some guns. Your arms are phenomenal.
Amazing 360 thing, how is it done?
cool video! #like 👍⭕
tell me u get a temporary tattoo?
I'm eager to see your hopefully revolutionary take on shower shelves!
You need to make a cool cabinet for the first aid kit.
May I ask if this an Ikea sink cabinet? How is it holding up after 4 years?
pretty great actually
I actually really like the 360 view. How do you create a 360 piece like this? Apparently I need to step up my video game...
Shelf idea:
Single horizontal slab of concrete, one side of the slab has different size holes to hold different showering stuffs.
Alternative would be use aluminium.
tell me you get a temporary tattoo !
nope! its real. video coming soon!
well, well...cant wait to see it.
I dare someone to not watch it in 360 and experience my pain.
What this video needs is more concrete.
