We LOVE our standard Bernadoodle, Umphrey!! He turns 1 in December. He has been the best boy! Super smart and easy to train. He is not a chewer, or a barker. Potty trained very quickly. He is an extremely sweet and happy boy! The best dog I’ve ever owned. He steals everyone’s heart who meets him. I highly recommend!! ☺️☺️

I got my bernedoodle because the original owner didnt do her research and charlie boy got to big for her now hes my little horse and friggin love him never had a pee alone again
@Playdo Boy the standard is super goofy and relaxed but definetly needs to go for walks or a bike ride daily because they are still pretty energetic but they are also super chill its a perfect mix i would say
I just got a puppy and she is the sweetest thing. She is my emotional support dog at school and she was so easy to train. She has her moments where she may chew something she isn’t supposed to but when taking her on a walk or a run and to the dog park she gets enough exercise. She is so easy to make happy just by being in the room with her!

My puppy cannot stand to be left alone even if we just leave the room. Everything he says is spot on. Loving, overly friendly, super affectionate, and very intelligent. An overall fantastic family dog. We just gotta work on the separation anxiety issue.
I have a 18 month old F1 Standard Bernedoodle. He definitely can get very energetic. That said, i briskly walk him 7 miles a day so he ends up being super mellow and sleeping all day. Best dog I've had.

The degree of shedding also tends to be seasonal (I live in NYC) so it’s more or less non existent during the winters but quite a bit during the summers. That said even during the summers, it’s very manageable and just requires me to run the Roomba every other day.
I have a mini Bernedoodle. She is about 4 months old and hands down one of the smartest /sweetest dogs I’ve ever owned. She is completely house trained with a bell, she sits and also shakes. She loves to go for a walk each day and really enjoys playing in our backyard. She loves other dogs and everyone she meets. I would say she is an active dog but not super hyper, she spends plenty of time cuddling up with us on the couch💜 He is correct about the shedding, although it’s nowhere near the amount of a Bernese a Bernedoodle does shed some but the amount will depend on the type of hair. The curlier the hair the less shedding. My girl has the straight coat which is what I personally wanted but I knew going into it that there would be a little bit of shedding.

Fell in love with a Standard Bermese who looked like a tank but was pure love. With all the health issues of the breed and the short lifespan I really want to get a mini berenedoodle now.
My Bernedoodle Bentley is a barker (when the doorbell rings or when he hears any noise outside) he is so sweet he is gentle with certain ppl and rough with kids and men (when playing) he is soooooo smart he started out all black with white paws and a small patch on his chest and now he is turning 1 soon he is Tricolor he has brown and white fur around the mouth and his paw pads have tan fur he sooooo cute definetly took on the look of a poodle but all the way berne he is also lazy af hell walk for about 5-10 mins then he’s ready to go in and nap. He loves our family hates being alone. On my channel i have a 2-3 month review of him but i will be posting a 1 year Bernedoodle update soon. But he is very interesting breed. Every time we walk him he gets sooooo much love from everyone and he loves it (although every now and then he barks at strangers very well but its like he knows something we dont) but other than that he is all bark and no bite. If your calling the bernese doodle a Bernard, yes, the golden doodle and bernedoodle are very similar. Differences are the coat colour, goldendoodles were bred as service dogs for people with allergies or who didn’t like hair, while the bernedoodle is just an all around great family dog. They are both highly intelligent and very loving dogs, all thought the bernedoodle is known to be more goofy and playful. The bernedoodle can live much longer than a golden with a life expectancy of 12-18 years while the golden is 10-15. They both usually have the same hair type, just not colour. A golden can also be much cheaper than a bernedoodle, with prices ranging anywhere from $1000-$3000 while a bernedoodle is usually $3000

We have a black “Whoodle” (part Poodle and Soft Coated Wheaten)named Roger. Roger looks EXACTLY like your dog. Guess the Standard Poodle wins out! Our pup is a sweetheart.
My The dog is having problems with his leg or hip and I’ve noticed that there’s really only happens in the winter or around that time this is one issue about this type of dog breed it is really sad seeing my dog hurt I love him he’s been with me for a long time and I just wanna know what’s wrong with him and how I can make him better
I a poodle schnauzer. She just turned 11. When she turned 10 she started to have some hip problems in the winter. It got worse theough the winter. But we noticed that the more we socialized her with other lovely dogs and brought her for walks she was able to walk and move around better and better. While we aren't exactly sure what's impeading her. Hope this helps a bit

They BARK! I grew up with a miniature schnauzer and a giant schnauzer. The miniature was loving and good with kids. My only complaint is the barking, a real alarm that wouldn't stop. As she got older she started to snap and bite. We got the Giant Schnauzer afterward. The giant was a really loving baby. She did still bark when she heard noises or the doorbell would ring but after 3-4 of them, we'd let her know that we're aware and she'd stop. Between the 2 I'd go with the giant one, they're real teddybears and AMAZING with kids. The small ones are more defensive and alert.
We currently have a bernedoodle (mix of bernes mtn dog and a doodle) and as far as I can say she is really loyal to their owners..: Everyday when she sees me she never leaves my side while I’m home

Another good point is that the standard F1 types are strong as an ox. Mine looks like a very broad, muscular muppet.

Hip dysplasia is something Liam mentioned. It is true. Be sure to consider buying doodles from OFA certified parents.
Ofa doesn't mean much. Penn hip is better but the main thing is excerise and not over feeding
