the best lightrod(20g)- seatrout -lure in my opinion is the megabass FX9-wobbler. it has a lip, which is flexible and lie on to the body in flight. casting wonder. it has a vibrant belly shaking action, what sends out signals of blinkblink ;the chrome or silver sides of the lure. made for fast retrieve, and also performs twiching well. 2.my best blinker(spoon) is a 14g eitz-fly, uv-orange! and neongreen with multicolor silver-holofoil. best fly: polarmagnus-i agree:-)
@@MarcinKantorall good. Just tired after wknd.. weather is sooo crazy good 🤣 Friday fishing, Saturday hiking and then camping at the ocean.. I'm wrecked but i like it 😉
Hi Marcin, you'll find this funny. I used your lure rig with a teaser fly to fish for grey mullet, using a small dark silver seeker and a teaser fly with a bit of tesco bag! lol My new kit hasn't arrived yet so I had to improvise. But it works! Great fun, I caught 3 last night to 2.5lbs. On paper it shouldn't work work that well...so there you go. Thanks for the tips!
That's awesome Ross, were they golden grey? Having a go at the lure or the fly? And I don't get the part about tesco bag at all 😉 Would be good to see the rig, if you want to send a picture via social media?
@@MarcinKantor im not going to complain too much i got a 60cm fish of the shore quite how im not sure because conditions were flat calm and the sunny splittin the trees again another prime example of our friends not reading our angling books and behaving in the manner they should!!
Like your vids! Super helpful stuff! Only thing I would say is maybe flip the dropper knot around the other way as having it the way it's shown in that shrimp rig pulls apart the knot and weakens the effecrive breaking strain drastically. Just wouldn't wanta big one snapping off your dropper!
Cheers Craig, I wouldn't want that either!! 😉😉 Not sure if I got exactly what you meant, but if the dropper tag was pointing towards the lure, it would be wrapping itself around the main line. This way it kicks out, but as I said, maybe that's not what you meant...
Yep that's what I meant! I know that it is then closer to mainline etc but it's the same when fly fishing and tying on two or three flies, they fish just fine and the knots are stronger! Obviously more prevelant with thin fly tippet, but just giving my 2 cents 🤙🏼
Another great video Marcin I always enjoy watching your passion for fishing! I’m looking forward to the bass fishing videos too, do you ever use a light setup for bass fishing?
Thank you John 👍 as light as I go for bass is 8-24gr rod, when I'm planning to do only the surface work. Other than that I usually fish tight quarters and snaggy ground, need the power to stop any angry bass in their tracks
cheers Martin. For spin fishing I presume? Well, I'd recommend one of the Favorite ones I am using (skylines for example en.favorite-fishing.com/) but if you go to a tackle shop you will have plent options. get something casting up to 40gr and a reel no smaller than 4000, even 5000. If you're going to be working heavy flying Cs size 4 across fast current you need strong tackle
Marcin I like the inline with the teaser fly. I would like to no please how you tie the leader to the other fly when using soft plastic. Do you just glue it to the shank of the fly hook
Where is this county Kerry? I just moved from Holland to county Cork. Great for seabass but I still have to figure out the seatrout fishing around here.
Hi Mark, as you say Cork is great for Seabass, you will get seatrout too, but usually up further north can be good for seatrout. Anywhere towards northern counties really
Hi Marcin, I have recently taken up sea trout fishing. Getting lots of hits but really finding it hard to land the fish. They shake and twist in the water like nothing else and the hooks are just popping out. I dont use extra slpit rings and lately switched to braid main line with fluro leader. do they extra split rings really help and what type hooks do you recommend? (size and brand) also the braid being that much stiffer than mono do you think this is part of the reason I may also be losing so many fish? any help appreciated! thanks
A few things you can do here Michael. Use soft rod / slower action rod instead of fast or extra fast one, use 3 split rings, use mono instead of braid. Anything you can do to absorb the shakes and jumps while keeping tension 👌As to the hooks I find 2 singles facing each other so they crate an upside down heart shape being quite effective.
I also enjoy the artistic elements that you include. Entertaining and informative. Your efforts are appreciated. Thanks heaps. 13:24

Hi Marcin. Amazing video! Keep it up! I do have a question, please: What material do you use for the teaser fly?
In this particular fly were DNA fibres

Micheal, I will have a vid on that soon. Its a match fishing style of knot plus a drop of superglue

Hi Marcin what is the name of the fly you are using for seatrout fishing. Thanks.
the pink one is called Pattergrissen, the other two, not sure the names but they are shrimp imitations
@@MarcinKantor thank you. 👌
What cameras are you using Marcin?
a couple of hero 7s and a galaxy note Carl
Do you only use Danish fly paterns???🤣
The name of the fly is not shrimp teaser, its polar magnus.
