That stage's setup was actually comically innocent, though.
There's something cathartic about watching you play Mario, I do it every night. Maybe because it subconsciously reminds me of watching my brother play Super Mario World on his emulator as I fell asleep as a youngster. It takes me back to a simpler time, and relieves my oppressive anxiety. Thank you sir, for continuing to play Mario, idk what I would do if you stopped playing it.

I mean, it took 2 dirty troll levels then that last Troll-y blind snake-block level at the end to take him down. He's improved so much on the high level he was at anyway before.
Someone should make a boss gauntlet level with all Koopaling fights in the style of that Flight of the Valkyrie level. Cool idea!

It's been a while since I played SMM2, but I remember pretty much every single "popular" level being exactly like the first stage in this run, complete with the exact same fake troll where the blocks switch from under you but it turns out you're fine. Literally every single popular level had it.

@@uncleremus3211 I think the intent is that since you have the mushroom you can jump off the galoomba and get the cape without hitting the kaizo block. He does that when he jumps in at first, he just missed the cape.
4:20 you gotta watch out for those spring drumps. Since Nintendo declared Trump Jumps illegal they needed to move to something else.
