Obviously CPA exam has been a pain in my ass, but that won't bother me any longer I have gotten my license already thanks to you Mr Dylan God bless you more cuz you made it possible for me
Hi, I'm hoping you can offer your insight. I have two business degrees (Supply Chain & Marketing). From my recollection, I took 6 credit hours of accounting classes. How would I get the remaining credits without having to get an undergraduate degree in accounting? I am thinking of getting a Master's, but I'm not sure that would even qualify me.
Hi! I'd start by pulling your transcripts to see how many accounting credits you already have- likely those classes will count towards the requirement. I'm also guessing with 2 other degrees you'll meet the 150 hour requirement- with the exception of specific accounting courses. You can also send your transcripts to the board of accountancy to get a formal review of the courses and credits you're missing. Once you know what courses you're missing, you will likely be able to get those classes through a community college. Hope this helps!
@@wellbalancedaccountantswit96 Thank you! Do you think that going the post-bacc route will be a determent since I won't have an accounting degree at the end but still a CPA cert?
Hi, I'm about to finish my Bachelors in International Finance and Accounting in the Netherlands but I wanna move to california and become a CPA. Do I need to redo my bachelors in the US? Because we work with European Credits (ECTS).

Hi Brie, yes- your degree doesn't have to be in accounting. However, you'll have to double check that you have 150 hours and that they are in the correct categories in order to become licensed. You have to have a certain number of classes in specific accounting areas. Check out the CBA website and NASBA for specific class requirements.
If I my bachelor degree doesn’t have enough accounting credit to take CPA ecxam, what can I do to add in the credit (exễcpt from taking master degree)? Thank you for your help.

@@malibération If you're a licensed CPA, I don't think anyone will question what your degree is in when it comes to hiring. CPA is the gold standard.
