Hope you enjoyed your time with the Range Rover Sport. Looking forward to you trying out the PHEV option, we think it might edge a little bit closer to taking your number one spot (and wait until you see the fully-electric models on the way next year...)
When he discussed the prices of the options he said "really ? .. for a TRUCK ?" and that's when u realize that Americans still don't get it, this is not A TRUCK.🤨
I have a last gen RRS as well after owning a string of bmw sedans and coupes. Best car I’ve ever owned. No issues and love the solid build quality (all my bmws squeaked and rattled). Very comfortable, great steering, brakes abd throttke response. Surprised by how much I like this thing
@@richardh3587 same here. I personally drive an E53 Amg Coupe & a Range Rover Evoque. The stereo (Meridian Surround) in the Evoque is bonkers even though it's not their biggest setup. Drove around with a friend & his Amg with the Burmester High-End system - great sound but the Meridian does just as good if not better, with less than half the price. I was shocked it wasn't much better than my normal Burmester.
Shame that this year's Sport no longer has a 7-seater option. I love the previous gen RR Sport because of that option. It's cheaper than the more luxurious RR and it performs just as well as the RR.
i wonder if the new RR & RRS have fixed the secondary ride? I found the old ones quite firm on small bumps to the point it wasn't enjoyable or buyable to us. The have only recently arrived here in OZ, hard to test one, but don't feel excited by the bland digital dashes and the lack of rear leg room...or the Australian price mark ups!. AUD$350,000 [USD $233K] for the RR PHEV version with some options.
Thats a problem with adaptive suspensions (auto mode for RRS). It takes a few of those for adaptive suspension to tune to them. Unless u pre-set to comfort mode.
I prefer the 3-spoke steering wheel of the new RRS over the 2-spoke one in the Vogue. I like the new interior, but I'm not sold on the exterior. As Dr Tate told Mr Hill, "you have no ass". Anyway, I completely agree with you on the materials.
Nice U-turn‼️💯That center screen was never discussed, and it looks steeper raked than the driver screen to match the slope of the dash instead of the ease of glare that may come from it. Nice if it was adjustable where the top could come forward and it could tilt towards the driver. Makes me wonder how wide of a viewing angle it has for shorter drivers. Nice review. 👍🏼 16:17
3:43 "Sport Mode" bro you left the settings in AUTO and didn't even have the shifter in S, you left it in D. You can't just say SPORT MODE and magically be in sport mode.
The pro’s: It’s attractive especially in that color, that 0-60 time is impressive for a boat that big, I’m happy that this car has been so reliable for Brian. The con’s: I agree that the back end looks waaay too tall and I don’t like it’s sideview of the rear either, I still wouldn’t buy one….
@@MotoManTV I don’t know how you think about it but I find new e-hybrid version of Cayenne very interesting if it can go 50-60 miles all electric as Porsche states (I believe it might since Porsche is always conservative with their numbers and they do better than they say)
I love(d) the design - really sweet lines - but they are doing it since 2012 now - which was a great design - now its getting a bit tired? Still I like the interior design a lot, that evolved strongly, yes real leather or very good vegan leather would be great. Would I buy one? nope
That brick has a drag coefficient of 0.29?? Wow! Its not ugly but I don't see anything "graceful" about its looks. In my opinion an F-Pace SVR looks miles better than this, sounds better, and moves better as it isn't saddled with 400lbs of extra "cross the Sahara" suspension gear (that no American ever uses). Oh, and charging extra to replace the expensive leather with cheap vinyl and cloth?? I'm sure that spec only sells in California...
No..if you're asking for the tax break in the US. The regulations state the vehicle must be made in the US now and must be below at certain price point ($80K I think).
The biggest mistake Land Rover has made is a very long long time is put crapy BMW motors is their vehicles! Nice motors for the first 3-4 years then grab your ankle as repair cost will take your money as fast as owning a full BMW. This engine shift will take give the brand an even worse name in 3-5 years. I know BMW fans boys will get their panties in a huge bunch by saying that. Don't believe me go take to a service advisor or better a tech who works on them. I have been driving LR's for the last 10 plus years and get a new one regularly and yes LR have things that brake like all car brands. Just BMW has it down to a science how to make a car fail so you have to replace or repair it yearly.

Rovers not reliable? Never noticed during my time in LR service 🤔🤔 His is reliable?! So HE'S the one!! 🤣 I currently live less than a mile from a dealership. Not a day goes by I don't see them rolling in on the flatbeds. Hell I snapped a picture a few weeks ago that I couldn't have staged. A dead Defender and 20 ft off its rear bumper a dead 2023 Sport, less than 100 yds from the dealership. Very reminiscent from my days in LR service. I also remember dealing with them when there was a mix of BMW and Jag engines. The Jags got 10,000 mi services. The BMWs got 15,000 mi service - invariably coming in well past that and the oil filter cartridges disintegrating while attempting to remove them. Should I tell you about the Sport that was sitting on the new delivery pad with collapsed air suspension while the guy was in the showroom about the sign the papers on it? 😏

Imo the seating position & driving comfort of a Range remains unmatched. Also the Meridian Sound systems are amazing compared to others

Can’t even buy the v8 version in the uk
If I ever buy one it’ll either in red or white color.

Same engine, power & torque as my M550i
but half the price
Dont do hard launches with the TR2 system in AUTO and that delay wont be so bad ;)

2024 Cayenne coupe e hybrid or this 2023 Range Rover Sport in a PHEV? What do you all pick and why?

its very good this new land rover range rover sport.
Would you pick the 2024 V6 cayenne or Range Rover sport D350?
Cayenne.
I really don’t like the back design in the mid low area
Damn them for producing vehicles that are so desirable but so unreliable.

Time to start phasing out leathers and using cost-effective, high quality recycled synthetics.
