    Great, safety first.
Putting gear on is something I take my time doing. When my coworkers see me still putting gear ⚙️ and say you still here dressing up

I'm at work now, conveniently I wear the bright vest because I work moving carts in a huge parking lot with people coming and going all the time so that piece of gear literally pays for itself. Last piece of gear is my hand mirror which I rubber band to two of my fingers and hold loosely and move as needed.

Since I can wear half my gear while working, my return trip takes a little less prep. Thanks for sharing your experience. It used to be very frustrating to remember to put the gear on in the right order and have everything in one place to start but I learned even though I'm old!!!

glad to see safety is taken more seriously almost universally in the EUC world, way too many onewheel videos with people not even wearing a damn helmet.

What will you ride in or on? I spent years "safely" in my house putting on extra weight which was actually damaging my physique and wasn't exactly healthy. Hoverboard and EUC helped to motivate and inspire me to better health and fitness. Safer motivators and inspirations may exist for you - boredom can also be dangerous- everything we do in life is a calculated risk of sorts. But your caution is well founded, it is easy for me to imagine that me, the non -professional, has skills comparable to the pros I see on monetized youtube channels who have tons more riding experience/ time and knowledge than I do. I'm attempting to stay vigilant and continuously redirecting my self to the most cautious and thoughtful engagement with this hobby as I can muster-thank you for your comment- what hobbies do you have?
