    If you ever need piano/acoustic music for a film, I'd be happy to help, Spenser (and anyone else reading this).

      @@spensersakurai thanks for the insight. I also think an interview with your producer would be interesting to get into the mindset of what producers do. Thanks for the reply

    Id like to see more of your directing, how you work with actors and get them comfortable with the performance

    Why not just dim the lights up and down instead of moving it to make it dimmer or brighter? (With the lamp)

      Because with the onboard controls or app you wouldn't get the effect as smooth as with moving the lights. It's just faster.

    The film looks incredible but as a filmmaker myself, having made numerous shorts with a feature optioned by a studio at the moment, its really important to highlight a few things for most upcoming filmmakers;
    - If you're going to spend this kind of money on a short film (which I absolutely do not recommend doing) make it a proof of concept for a feature length film. Short films will likely never see any kind of financial returns, at all, so if you're gonna drop this kind of money on a short at least let it serve an even greater purpose to set yourself up for the feature length adaptation.
    - I cannot stress this part enough - it is...INCREDIBLY difficult...to get a short film programmed in a film festival if it runs longer than 10 minutes. Festival programmers will pick 4 films that equal 20-25 minutes in runtime over one 20-30 short, every single time. If you don't believe me, ask them. Ultimately, tell the story you need to tell, but short films are called 'shorts' for a reason. 20, 30 minute runtimes? Just make the feature length at that point.

    Most filmmakers won't have access to such high end gear, sets, crew or budget like you do. I see a lot of films done with much less that were still very successful.
