My second attempt at making a seagrass and macro algae aquarium. This time in a larger 300 litre aquarium.

Do you think one could keep intertidal seagrass in a 30L aquarium without animals or would alge overrun it?

I think it would be possible. I’m my earlier videos I document my failed attempt at doing just that. The trick would be having a nutrient base for the roots and capping it with sand to keep the nutrients out of the water column to keep the algae at bay. A few shrimp as cleanup crew wouldn’t hurt either.
