Really great playthrough. I enjoy your enthusiasm. A few issues: Attack the Heroes isn't really a true mission goal, but I think you were getting that as you played. True mission goals have to have a threat number next to them. 1:01 - Each act of healing actually increases your threat by 1 (it's not one per health gained, just once per healing act). So the priest would have increases his threat a couple of times. 1:05:45 - Your instinct was correct but you changed your mind. The right most enemy would have gone after the priest because the priest had higher threat than the Squire, was within the control range and he could still make an attack. The south enemy would have attacked the Squire because he could move and make an attack against the priest. 1:09:38 - Crits are effects, just like her Lethal. So you use the dice only to determine which effects trigger. The lethal doesn't allow the crit to trigger. 1:12:05 - Around this point, you started treating 5+ as successes on attacks. You need 6+ to harm those enemies.

Great timing - i just started this and played this scenario this afternoon. Really helps to see someone else go through the rules. I have a couple comments in addition to what others noted already: * The way i read Lethal is that it does 1 extra damage - regardless of how many moons rolled. It works different than Rebecca's Arcane Arrow. * Threat is increased when a hero does a healing (removes a damage token). So Vincenzo should have been increasing his threat when healing Valerio. * Enemy AI - I played it that Attack the Hero's path should be followed since that is the mission goal. In this case, they would attack the highest threat in their control area. - so in your play, they would have gone for Vincenzo near the end. However, i agree that it is confusing and your approach (following Mission Goal path) may be correct. Great job! Hopefully you can get some loot next mission.

Another awesome video. Thanks you so much for covering the game. I was listening while painting my stradiots. Ive seen this chapter covered by 3 youtubers before and your version was the most entertaining and easiest to follow. Great job. Few things. Had you yaken the window you could have sneaked out and attempt escaping or even send sophia to the roof for snipping purpose. All crits count. Even if it is the killing blow. It also makes sense thematically if you see an enemy that kills your comrade with a gruesome blow, your mind would automatically put that guy as dangerous. So it makes sense that a crit is counted and adds to the perillium. I dont think you can get twice the same status in the same round and therefore they shouldn't be cumulative, but ill double check the rules tomorrow. Honestly i hope you continue the great work. Amazing game so far.

Greath greath video!! I like your videos because you focus the camera on the tiles and on the dice rolling. and not just a camera with a long viewe of entire table. In this case the result with 3d buildings and tree are superb!! Compliments also because play four heroes on this game isn't so simple. The game is not too complicate but there the risk to miss something. If i may i correct some errors you make. On hero card you can have only one status token, so for example Vincenzo cannot have two bless token and Valerio cannot have two bleed token. There some exeption to this rule. Some equipements can carry on more status token (the shard of Rebecca for example) but this is specified directly on the card. On 1:05:25 the target must to be Rebecca because his perilium was the higher value. One time the rarget are chosen the enemy try to attack that target also if they don't have enought action point. Look on the main manual IA chapter. There is a good example with Vincenzo-Sofia target. On Field boock the flow chart of IA is littel bit wrong. (LMS guys say some FAQ will correct that) The enemy change target only if the target cannot be reached due the path is obstructed... Anyway greath video!!

Only one token for each status effect can be placed on an enemy, and for a hero only one status effect can be placed on their character sheet at a time...but sometimes you can place a status effect on an item which doesn't count against the limit on the hero character sheet.
Amazing Video thanks! I think there are some small inaccuracies in the management of enemy AI at 28:00 . That of this mission is a particular example because the Mission Goal of the enemies is the same as in the case where there is no Mission Goal (attack the Heroes) And this can cause confusion

Hello! A bit late to the party… I had other games to play! 🙄🤣 I was wondering if the graphic on the tile (1B) represent obstacles. The way I placed mine, the 1B was at the bottom right and so there seemed to be some old building foundations blocking my view… Was I correct?
It’s been a. While since I have played but I think they are just graphics to add to the tiles I don’t think they have any significance unless the mission says so 😃😃👍
Fun video! Wondering how characters evolve over the course of a campaign though. Most of Rebecca's turns were move and cast spell, Sofia used throwing knives, Valerio swords, etc. I know thats their weapon but it's still just one attack/action. Do characters get better/more choices for skills as the game goes on, or do they mostly keep spamming 1 skill? Trying to not watch too many gameplay videos to avoid spoiling the game

Got my Core Box today! (Still waiting for the expansions that should be in transit). It looks like there is room in the storage trays to hold sleeved cards? Did you sleeve yours, and if so did they indeed fit? Mainly looking at all the mini cards, not the character or missions cards.
I have sleeved some of the cards and the fit well so far. Sadly no matter how hard they try it is always tough to make the perfect insert for any game it seems like
I hope they do a second print run on crowdfunding, I will definitely hop on it. Hopefully they get any errors fixed also. Minis look great and thanks for the playthrough.

Was thinking how much I like the resolution of the AI enemy turn by rolling defence die, while watching Doug Mystic Eye's playthrough. Just watching now, the arquebusier just hit Sophie. The problem not having a "to hit roll" and having to defend with a 7+ seems like it's hard for the arquebusiers to miss, when the weapons (afaik) weren't that reliable. Anyway, having got that off my chest like a curmudgeonly old grognard, I'll shut up, kick back and enjoy the fun! lol

Thanks for the play-through. It’s really hard to assess whether to invest in this game relative to all of the other campaign games out there. Can you please give some relative comparison analysis to the other leaders on this genre?
In can do my best to help you decide if this is for you. Here are a few things that are unique. First it’s a D8 system that I don’t see that often. And the dice have symbols that can affect abilities. The turn order is refreshing in a dungeon crawl system. Most are take your turn wait til it’s your turn again. This you can choose to hold some of the turn so that you go again earlier. The board has 3d elements that are cool. I haven’t played enough to know if the story holds up, or what the level ing system looks like. Not sure if any of this helps. I know Board Game Co did a first impression video that might help you as well. I enjoy it and it is planing to remain in my collection. If it helps more videos on the way. Yep I double checked you can't have twice the same status token on an enemy or character unless you can transfer that token to an item
