I think this is the first video I've ever seen from this channel. Thank you UA-cam algorithm for bringing this place to my attention! I thought it was an excellent review and you've got a new subscriber.
I'm currently rocking a GameSir X2 Pro with my phone as my main gaming and emulation device. I won it in a giveaway from the DameTech channel almost two years ago. It's been rock solid. Knock on wood; but, even the non-Hall Effect ALPS sticks are still as tight and drift free as a new one. If you've tested an X2 Pro on this channel, how would you say it compares to the M10 in feel and quality? I have some brand loyalty to GameSir; but, I'm not above saving $30+ and getting this instead of a G8 Galileo if my X2 Pro starts acting up in an unfixable way. Thank you.
I've used the original GameSir X2, not the Pro, so I can only compare my thoughts to that specific model. The GameSir X2 I owned was decent at the time, but the plastic felt kinda hollow. The joysticks and build quality are better on the M10, but those joysticks are also slightly smaller. The G8 Galileo is going to be more comfortable overall, but it's still going to feel less portable. There are pros and cons to each, I suppose. If you prioritize ergonomics, then grab the G8 Galileo; if you want to save a bit and don't mind slightly smaller controls, then I think the M10 is a solid purchase with good build quality. Hope that helps!
I also felt that the phone tilting was weird so I purchased an ultra-thin case for my phone and it now sits almost flush on the controller making it feel better while gaming.
Good idea 👍
How does the programmable button work? Can you program the d-pad buttons on it? How does these buttons feel? Is it easy to reach as they are positioned on the shoulder instead of in the back?
Nice video Kei 😊 Just one question: what about the USB-C port on the right, just below the joystick? I guess is for charging the phone when connected, but I am wondering if (with a device able to do so) it can be used also for video output... That would be amazing!
That would be a cool feature to have but I don't think it would be supported unfortunately. Maybe we'll see that in upcoming controllers in the future.
@@KeiRetroGaming I truly hope so 🤞 thank you 😊
@@KeiRetroGamingposso usar um fone USB-C nele?
Sabes si es compartible con codm?
Intriguing controlla 🤠
Does it support shooting v3 android app?
Can anyone confirm me that? Please
I guess you have to use Mantis to map this. Mine arrives next day, i dont like controllers and consoles, but im pretty hyped for this one for my phone 😁
Hope you like it
@@KeiRetroGaming never really used controllers, i have to get used to it. Sadly, matins is paid and only one game can be used, i might search if i find a free mapper, other than that, my only problem is the charging, waiting half day to get some other color than red on the led :)
Looks good, I'm tempted in getting the galileo black version. I forget it's correct branding atm
I've heard the Gamesir Galileo G8 is great. Haven't had a chance to try that one yet though.
It should be the Red Magic Shadow Blade 2
@Cloud28693 that's it, now I know why I couldn't remember.. definitely a mouthful haha
Man, does this control really look good on the cell phone or does it have that little feeling even though the cell phone is a little wobbly, loose?
Because there are cell phones with super thin edges like the Note 10 and I have the impression that this happens with the fit of this control.
Can you tell me?
It holds pretty firmly onto my Poco F3.
I found my old tablet in a drawer. Would a Samsung Tab S4. 10 inch fit, you think?
175 millimeters or 6.89 inches is the max size this controller can support according to the product page. I think the one from ipega is the only tablet controller I know of.
Looks pretty sweet
Yeah I definitely like it so far. Pretty decent phone controller.
Will this be compatible with ROG phone 8?
It should as it opens very wide. Found some measurements for the ROG Phone 8 online but I don't really believe its 6 inches tall. How long is the phone?
Works on cod warzone mobile or cod mobile?
It says it have 6 axis gyro, does it really have?
I think gyro will work since your phone is mounted in it and the gyro feature is in the phone itself
@@manongberbo9271 I have tried that on my previous controller and once the controller is connected, the gyro on the phone itself will no longer work
@@SickandTiredofmyLife have you checked the game settings? It should not affect the gyro of the game afaik but if it does then this product is not good for me since i play fps games mostly on my phone. I'm currently using an easysmx 9110 controller that also uses a USB connection and the gyro works while mounted to it
Aren’t you having to carry something else with you anyways if you are using your phone?
this or the GameSir G8 Galileo
That's a hard choice to make. G8 for ergonomics or the M10 if you want to save some money and have better portability thanks to the compact design. Both are great, but I haven't personally tried the G8 so I'm just going off what I've heard from friends who ended up getting one.
Quite a useless controller. I got it and none of the games I tried work on it. Or they only support the A and B button or none at all!
