I think blue switches sound like a typewriter so if you ever want a mechanical keyboard for cheap, get red switches for the best sound for cheap, or you can get others like the milky yellow switches or the creamy banana splits switches
I wouldn’t say that’s thoccy, I would say it’s more muted. I do think that’s pretty cool tho. I’ve never thought of it before and I can see how it could be a great mod for people who already have a loud gaming keyboard and don’t want to invest in a custom one.
If you put enough in you will eventually here a difference but if your rgb goes all the way through the keycaps this will greatly reduce the brightness

your better off with doing what I did to my keyboard and I put like thin pe foam in the inside of my keycaps with an o-ring. which takes like a couple of hours to do but definitely worth it.

I'd personally use sticky tacks inside my keycaps as it'll spread evenness onto each keycaps
