Thank you for all your Insights and helpfull strategies! I would love to know what you think about limiting screentime for kids (5, 9 and 12 year old) on days. For example: screentime only friday and weekend but not on monday to thursday.
This podcast is helpful but how do I navigate limits on screentime with my 10 year old? The negotiations that go on between my daughter and I are endless. I have given in too much for "just a few more minutes" and she takes advantage of that. When my husband says no more screen time, it is like day and night. My 10 year old automatically listens to him. This is such a struggle for me. Please advise! Thank you.
Hi amy! Know that it is normal for kids to “be more themselves” or have more meltdowns with mom, sometimes it doesn’t feel safe for our kids to have a meltdown with daddy. But try explaining her emotions, and anticipating the boundaries just like this video explains. I think it gives wonderful tools. Good luck!❤
