    When the ball is on the move I have trouble getting the timing properly for the curve/cross. Any Tips?
    Great Vid

    • @KreiderAcademy
      @KreiderAcademy  4 місяці тому

      Thank you😊
      One thing I’d do to help with this is alternate reps of a dead ball and a rolling ball. So take one cross with the ball stopped and the next as it rolls. Try to mimic the feeling, dynamics, and technique that is working for the dead ball on the rolling ball!
      To improve timing you really just need practice. So just consistently work on your crossing 4-5 times a week for a couple of months and you’ll see a massive difference! If you’re still struggling after a couple of months then let me know and I’ll give you some other advice to try, but I really think this will do the trick for you😁🫶🏼

    Hey I need help it feels like I can’t seem to lock it pointing upwards how can I fix this?

    • @KreiderAcademy
      @KreiderAcademy  Місяць тому +1

      My best advice for this is working on this away from shooting. Do this drill every day.
      Have a partner with a ball in their hands about 3-5 yards away from you. Have them toss a ball to your feet for you to volley back to their hands (a pass) with the inside of your foot. Then take a few steps quickly to your side and repeat with your other foot. Repeat for 10-15 good reps each side.
      Focus on having your toe up and ankle locked while you do this. This will help you build the muscles and habit of having your ankle locked and toes up for curlers.
      Then do this drill with your laces. This will work on the same thing but will help you develop the habit of locking your ankle for when you shoot with your laces.
      Do this every time you train!! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

    @KreiderAcademie i understand a little bit but i don't understand that if u shoot u hit the middle but how about the foot like do u need to point up when u hit the ball or u just shoot the middle like your foot is straight but my reall question is that do u point u foot up or doput ur foot up and inside of the foot middle and the last part of u foot down and do u hit the ball folrom down to up if it to long sorry for that if u don't understand just say what u understand thank u bye

    • @RachealIkponwonsa

      And like if strike the ball some of the people shoot middle but not point toes up or shoot with toes up

    • @KreiderAcademy
      @KreiderAcademy  16 днів тому

      Hey! 👋🏼
      I’ll do my best to answer your question. I’m not sure I fully understand it though. If you want, reply to this and ask again.. but please use punctuation for me! It gets very confusing without punctuation breaking up your questions into distinct parts…
      Firstly, it all depends on what your shot to look like. If you want your shot to just curl, hit straight through the middle of the ball - height wise (and off to the side of it to get your curl)
      If you want dip and curl on your shot, then you want your foot to come up through the ball. So your leg and foot swings up as you’re making contact with the ball. This gets the top spin on the ball. So you’ll want to hit a little bit lower on the ball too if you want the dip. Otherwise you won’t get any height on it at all.
      The toe up or down part changes the amount of power on it. If you want a curler with lots of power and less curl, then keep your toe down and strike just to the inside of your laces.
      If you want to have more spin or whip, and don’t care for the power as much. Then open up your foot and hit it with the inside of your foot with your toe up!
      I hope this helps! Please let me know if this didn’t address your concerns! Thanks for asking😁🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

      @RachealIkponwonsa 16 днів тому

      Thank u sir it really helped me and I'm really sorry if u don't understand but that all what I wanted and what do u use more less curve but with power or less power and more curve

    • @KreiderAcademy
      @KreiderAcademy  12 днів тому +1

      @@RachealIkponwonsa it depends on how far out from goal I am!
      If I’m inside the 18 I’d use less power and more curve. I’m just more accurate with my shots when I take some power off and focus on accuracy..
      However, if I’m outside the box, then I need to put more power and less curve so that way I can beat the keeper from distance. The more power on the strike, the less time the keeper has to react and try to save the shot!
      I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

    We have to use instep or knuckle of big toe

    • @KreiderAcademy
      @KreiderAcademy  6 місяців тому

      Depends on how much power you want on the strike. I generally get more whip and curl with my instep as well as it’s more consistent. But I’m sacrificing power that I would get with the knuckle of my big toe for that consistency and accuracy. Hope this helps🫶🏼

    Help me pls every time i curve the ball around the goal it goes straight to the corner and i cant
    hit the ball around the post and back in even tho i watched ur video like 5 times.

    • @KreiderAcademy
      @KreiderAcademy  4 місяці тому +2

      It’s difficult for me to tell you exactly the problem is without seeing you strike the ball. But here’s some things that might help, and practice these just by rolling the ball and shooting to see if you can get curve.
      1. Take your touch wider. Less forward and wider. This will help with #2
      2. Wrap your hips around the ball. Your leg should swing around your standing foot. This is different from how your leg goes straight through the ball on laces shots.
      3. Lift your toe up higher. This will help you get more side spin on the ball.
      My other suggestion is have a friend come record you shooting so you can see your technique. If you then compare yours to mine, you might find the issue yourself if those three points are seeming to do the trick. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

    Hey bro can u help me , should i juggle with toes pointing forward and foot straight or toes pointing upward

    • @KreiderAcademy
      @KreiderAcademy  Рік тому

      It depends! If your toes are pointing up you’ll get backspin on the ball, but with a straight foot you’ll have less spin on it. I prefer to juggle with a straight foot most of the time because it’s more similar to how you’d strike the ball to shoot👍🏼
