Dewalt Flapper Wheel (Grinding Disc) & It's Effectiveness On Wood Removing Varnish [Dewalt Flapper Disc] demo's this grinding disc that is usually reserved for removing mil scale and polishing metal. I use this with a hand held angle grinder while doing a coatrack project that needed a large surface area of varnish removed. These are also good for shaping both metal and wood. Purchased this one at Lowe's for around 8 or 9 bucks, however, see the link below.
Waaaay cheaper here than at Lowe's or Home Depot (paid link):

I'm looking for a way to remove stain from the grooves in beadboard. I wonder if this will work or eat the wood.

Yeah this will likely gouge the wood unless you were a super careful and just barely skim it with this. I’d go for a hand abrasive first. This thing can chunk out if u lean into it much.

Lowe's charges out rages prices on things over priced, if you shop around you'll almost find much better deals else where. Enjoy using some princess auto's stuff specially when comes to those flapper wheels.
