Rather unfortunate to be driving in that kind of weather, but at least it was interesting as it allows us to see how competent or incompetent other drivers are at indicating their directions. An educational drive Tudor in appalling weather.

It’s a strange thing driving in the rain because you have to be more observant - almost having to think for others!

Drove this the other way yesterday afternoon. The roundabouts at Hawkinge can be a nightmare, especially the one to Lidl etc.

It can get confusing - well, especially if no one indicates lol. Cars that could enter a roundabout but have to wait because the cars on the roundabout aren’t signalling. It actually causes congestion! Hey Ho!

About using dipped headlights when it's rainy: When driving in France oncoming traffic flashed their headlights at me when it became darker or visibility was bad. They had no headlights on and didn't like mine!

That sounds strange. If they were driving in Scandinavia then they’d be really upset as it’s the law over there to have dipped headlights on all the time (well obviously not when your at home indoors lol 😂)

Totally agree with you about the use of indicators on roundabouts. Drivers who choose to not use indicators on roundabouts infuriate me intensely.
Mirrors, Indicate and manoeuvre. Really couldn't be any simpler 😉😉

Sign of the times. It narks me no end but I think I’ll try and be a little less sanctimonious and pious about it in future. Some folk will continue to be inconsiderate drivers and I guess it’s down to us as drivers to be constantly aware and make no assumptions 👍
