Where does the blue light around the switches on the left of the steering wheel at 5:35 come from? edit: it's ambient light not available in the luxury edition in europe, right?
Hi Jerry, i have a MG ZS 2024 Excite. Ive noticed when i unlock the car at night time the back brake lights dont illuminate. Now just the fog lights instead illuminate only. The healights open normal upon unlocking. Any idea how i can get it working again as normal. My settings are all switched to auto. So this is simply when you stand outside the car and you unlock and are facing the back of car with no keys in the ignition. It was functioning well before. From Australia 😊
@JerryPanandCars Thanks for the response. I did do that, and the service team was not helpful. They ran a scan and even mentioned that my car doesn't have that option anyway as it was compared to three other cars, the same model getting serviced. What are my options as my service centre is making me sound like a fool. My car has not even clocked 300 km. I've only had it for a month. Can I take it to another MG service centre? Is it a sensor issue or fuse in your honest and humble opinion ?
How can I slightly elevate the low beam light in my mg3 excite model? When I switch on the low beam light at night, it seems to be angled downwards, forcing me to resort to the high beam. Could you advise me on how to rectify this issue?
Hi Jerry...just needed to understand...my headlight is turned on to Auto...while driving sometimes I see a symbol that is green in colour with A written inside it...I have a ZST Essence...is it auto headlight or high beam....
Hey Jerry The auto headlight feature seems to have a known issue wherever you re in the world. Many forums have the same comments. Simply, the sensor doesn’t work! Many of us have been back to the dealerships and MG do not appear to have a solution. Some have been lucky enough to have the sensor replaced, but this appears to be the exception rather than the rule!
@@toyshanger8945 May I know how long it is since you replaced the fuse? The dealer had hard reset the vehicle when I reported the issue, the auto light could work as it should be for 3 days and then failed again. The issue is too complex for me to understand: if the sensor is faulty, it could work for a while after battery reconnected. If not faulty, the auto light will certainly fail after a couple of days😂
Hi Jerry I just got my MG HS Excite so fare very good, 1 question for you the interior lights in the back seat can they be turned off at all the ones in this vidio to the right of your head Thanks
I live 25 kms from town and the headlights of my ZST are not high enough for driving at 100 km/hr night. I can't find a manual adjusting screw to raise it. It is too dangerous to drive at night. High beam often can't be used when vehicles are approaching.
Did you know all Toyotas sold in UK has indicators on the left like all other European cars? No one’s going to make these indicators on one side for us in AU and NZ. So there is no right or wrong on this
I understand that English might not be your first language and a helpful tip is to reduce the amount of upward inflection at the end of your every phrase or sentence. It can be quite gnarly to the ears after a while; when you are stating a fact, yet it sounds like a question because of the way you end each and every sentence. Hope that helps.
Much needed video for new MG car owner like me. Thanks a lot.

Yes, ambient light. Only available on the MG HS range.

Sorry I'm not a technician. :(

Hey, I think it needs to go the workshop for a check

There is a switch on the right panel below the steering labeled 0, 1, 2, 3. This adjusts the headlight level. 0 being the highest.
Agree. My ZST is too low and dangerous at night to drive in the country at 100km/hr. The dial of 1 - 4 doesn't raise it high enough.
Hi Jerry ,I have the HS CORE can I put in a power tailgate?
Aftermarket maybe but I don't have that knowledge

It is auto lights.
Hi have you done a tutorial on the new MG 3 ev.
The New MG3 has just arrived in New Zealand 2 weeks ago. I'm testing it and I will be doing some tutorials on the channel soon. Thanks
What is Rear Fog light for MG ZS EV? if you can elaborate or give some picture.
Similar to control like I showed in this video but in different location.

We have similar issues with MG ZST here in NZ. But only limited to this vehicle. All the other cars are fine
Replace the F19A5 fuse. Never had any issues since
@@toyshanger8945what’s the issue with the fuse and how does it rectify the faulty sensor?

The lighting design of ZST is a disaster, there are also issues with front fog light and trunk light on my vehicle.
Hey Jerry...can I turn off the DRL in ZS?
Not that I know of.

Yes, you can turn that off permanently.
Hi Jerry any way to turn off the DRL?
Not that I know of :(
Good day sir how to change seat belt? In mg hs
Extend the seat belt? You will need to go to a seat belt specialist.

Thank you Sir
Thanks for the support.
Indicators should be on the right side stick for Australia.

How many foreign languages do you speak !? Besides, how many helpful videos have you published for anyone to watch for free?
How can your daft comment help. Clearly you’re just having a go. Do you speak another language?
You’d hate living in Australia they all do it here lol.
