EA: “We want players to keep playing our games.” Gamers : “Is my steam deck ok? It has my whole library on it. I’ll play your games there.” EA: “No, not like that.”
i feel like valves been under attack a lot lately and it worries me because they seem like they're one of the only companies that care about the consumer anymore. why don't people attack Nintendo for taking down a game claiming they created "throwing a ball in a field", That is going to ruin creativity and gaming as a whole and I am never supporting Nintendo again.
There’s some truth to it unfortunately. Hopefully, there’s a mechanism down the line that’s made to help combat this while enabling us in the minority to enjoy gaming w everyone else. That’s also to not say there aren’t cheaters using windows either though.
People will argue about it but it's 1% of users for an incredible amount of work. It makes no sense as a developer especially now that proton is so good. And I'm a game developer...
@@sunburystudios8234 valve supports Linux on all their games and for example, team fortress 2 is absolutely filled with cheating. I don’t blame just Linux gamers for cheating, but a large company wouldn’t alienate a portion of their customers if there wasn’t something going on. Some companies take it more seriously than others and valve doesn’t seem to care at all
@@Nqd-r6r I wouldn't doubt it either way. Either way it's an expanded effort to support for a much smaller userbase and that userbase tends to be savvy enough to cause more issues than other users. Seems like a lose, lose to support, sadly. For me, juggling two Unity builds is INSANE compared to just supporting a proton version. My games will probably never go native Linux. I see why people pass it up, it's a story you hear endlessly in the industry.
On pc: "Neverwinter Nights" On deck:"Castlevania advance collection." I my phone plays ps 2 games, and i got a backlog of plus 700 games. Bring the crash. I will survive a lot longer than EA.
In my opinion, the horipad steam controller was a complete miss. I wish they would have either partnered up with 8bitdo or made another one using Valve's R&D team. :(
@@zephyrdelight3411 I was a little confused at first by what you're supposed to do, but once I figured out that, like the main series, you try to run and gun as much as you can, it became a lot more fun. I do hope there's some sort of extra mode where I can just pick my perks and fight enemies in isolated skirmishes. The campaign is fun, but it can feel disheartening when I have to start a run all over because I just had to complete that extra objective.
I heard that the Hori Steam controller was created partly to make use of a bunch of Switch controller parts that Hori had leftover, so it makes sense that it feels like a Switch Pro Controller.
I like your videos but I think it would be great if you show games that you like or are playing or want to play etc. I think that would be great content for you 😊
Its ok, I don't see why wasting my time to give my resources to EA when they are only a small number of games compared to many others released everyday on steam.
I absolutely AGREE Jimmy, I think that games like metaphor Re Fantazio with easier graphics also SHOULD exist, because it's about the story and good artstyle that does not require the most advanced graphic engine...you're the first that I've seen saying this ....I hope more people agree on that.
Playing ffvi pixel remaster. Have been blowing through all of them now on the last one. Real fun and cool to see how it all got started and how things evolved through all the 2D games.
That's because like the Steam Deck, you run into niche problems just like us. Half the struggle with handhelds is getting them to work as ideally compared to PCs, because there is a compatibility layer (for the ROG, it's drivers) that can go to shit
That why I stop buying games because games is starting to suck because look at how they treat the steam deck they talking about cheaters I don't cheat and I feel like ea and all these people who work for these gaming companies I feel like they need to stop doing this to us and kick out the one who cheating smh I'm sick of this
The Xbox Elite Series 2 is my favorite wireless controller and I don't even have an Xbox. I use it for my PC games. It just feels so good in your hands. The weight is perfect. I looked at the new steam controller reviews online and they pretty much said the same thing you did about the weight and all. They also said when you hold it in your hands that it just feels very cheap. I'll wait for a much better one, that is if they ever get around to it. As far as Dragon Age, I wont be buying it or any other games that have WOKE !#@$ in the game!
This controller is horrendous! The Original Steam Deck controller was such a nice controller... I like it even better than the deck's controls... If there is no trackpad on the right side, it is not a Steam controller to me! (I don't care for the left one)
I've been playing WoW season of discovery using the Console Port Add-on. I really like how it plays and runs, just wish that I could play it without having to deal with Blizzard. :/
Two way road with apex. I didn't want to put that shit on my deck when the pro league stream got modded. Nah son, it's like ea saying 'you can't fire me, cause I quit!' no. Get fucked.
I just picked up rogue trader and I can only get 25-30 fps tops and it’s not even a good 25-30. You can feel the frame timings are all over the place. It shouldn’t be verified.
Look, Veilguard is so bad a lot of Dragon Age fans aren't interested. Even if you mentally dump all the woke crap, it's just plain bad acting and story, it's like a video game story written for 3yr olds. With everything they pulled around release, I think they knew how bad it was before they released it and were desperately trying to hide it. Heck, its so bad the woke controversey might actually have been good for sales this time. As someone who owns all 3 Dragon Age games, it feels like its insulting to players intelligence in many ways.
@radovanszep at 1280 x 720p, low to medium graphics settings, FSR on quality, FOV at 100, 3rd person view, is runs at a very solid 40 to 55 FPS. Frame pacing is also fairly solid with the odd spike when buffering in new graphics data, but not bad at all. Very happy with it! ❤️

I dont actually believe them about Linux cheaters.
It doesn’t matter what you believe but it’s true. That’s why some developers won’t allow their anticheat to work with Linux

On Deck: (Till next unwanted task) Final Fantasy II (PSX)

The Hori Steam Controller is coming to the US market on December 16th

I cannot explain to people how much fun Vampire Survivors is with friends.
Wait.... It has multiplayer?

I’d be more worried about a certain US senator who is trying to shut down steam right now.
What game is being shown during EA story?
battlefield 1
Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider over the past month.
Rockstar and EA, garbage.

Grounded? The game with really small kids and giant bugs?😀

Any games like pubg or warzone i can play on the deck.
