Hi there Benjamin, great channel you got here! I am thinking about ordering my first MTM jacket/blazer. Since i am a beginner to this , would you recommend Hockerty? I personally don't rly need the best fabrics out there, and from what i red on your website Hockerty looks like a good starting point. Love your channel, keep it up:)

Thanks for your kind comment! Hockerty is a good starting point indeed. Just make sure to let them know when something is not perfect about your order and how it fits. I have been too generous a couple of times, but if it does not fit perfectly, it's really a good idea to use the alteration credit they offer or even send it back and let them remake it! And I don't recommend going double breasted, their pattern for this style is not the nicest in my opinion. If you want a double breasted suit, I would really recommend ordering something in a higher price range.

@@SartorialStyles Thank you for the quick response. I'll make sure i take my measurements perfectly. My first order will probably be just a basic 2-button. And then later on i will see how it goes. I can't know if i do not try:)
As for the double breasted suit most likely that will be something for the future. But good to know that you recommend a higher price range for that.

I would NOT. They don't have customer service and the quality is questionable.. my shirt never came. And no refund.

looks quite tight, did you order the slim fit? if it rains you will most likely get wet and cold with that fit, also, how did the jersey fit underneath?

I noticed the jacket doesn't have a so-called 'action back'. Does the jacket allow enough movement at the shoulders? Can you raise your arms and reach forward easily?

Indeed, it's a little hard to move properly in this jacket.
