What was wrong with using the one in the intro picture on the left? Just wondering I thought that was what they are made for and are very cheap! Do you connect the pole to the one part and your hose to the other hole and the OTHER end of your hose to the pump?? BRAND new at this. Can’t afford s vacuum, don’t have a slimmer. Just a nice bigger pump for my small 10’ pool and need to vacuum efficiently for like really cheap !

I love the way you attached the brushes, that does two things, it holds the brushes in place but also reinforces the bristles from coming loose, I take it you are using silicon adhesive? . I made something similar many years ago using a commercial pool straight brushed and fitting a rectangular suction lid over it, works pretty good with the existing pool pump. A big thumbs UP!
That's not a pool vacuum, that's a vacuum head only. You can get that for $12 pre-made at Wallymart and save yourself a lot of time, but if you really need to save a couple dollars and your time isn't worth that much then .....

You hook it up to one of the intake lines then it just. Filters out
Make sure to use just one intake n plug the other much more suction
