  • This is my handmade soap using Canola oil and Rice bran oil as a replacement for Olive oil. Olive oil it is getting pricey, Canola oil and Rice bran oil are as good as olive oil when it comes to lather performance.
I'm sharing my recipe for you to have an idea of what I used.
    Here are my ingredients:
    15% Canola oil
    25% Rice bran oil
    40% Coconut oil
    5% Jojoba oil
    10% Shea butter
    5% Cocoa butter
    Frozen Goat milk and Lye
Essential oil (Jasmine, Ylang-ylang, Lavender, Pine)
    Micas (for colorant)
    1tbsp white kaolin clay
    1tbsp colloidal oatmeal
Some of my ingredients come from my cover. I bought my oils in our local store. The essential oil and lye I bought it from a local supplier.
My mold size is LxWxH 27.9x8.9x8.6 centimeters. I bought this online too.

Top Layer got very thick, may be instead of adding lye to entire batch, you should try dividing lye to each separated part,

Thank you so much, yes you are right, it's good to divide the lye to separated parts specially if it's more than four colors. I'm going to do that in my next project if I'm going to use multiple colors. Thanks a lot, cheers.❤️❤️❤️
