At fully counterclockwise it divides the frequency selected by two. So, 12 kHz would become 6 kHz and so on.This was actually a feature on a real Motown equalizer, because it allowed them to slow down lathe cutting on vinyl records... resulting in deeper.bass. Anyway on the plug-in the in between settings move the frequency selections between that halved setting and the labeled center frequency point. I should probably make a video about that using plug-in doctor... good question!
