Can someone explain to me how you can own a tweet of Jack Dorsey? Like, what do you actually own? Its not like each tweet is a unique file that only the creator has access to. Did he sell a screenshot of the tweet?
I think people thinking NFTs are a way to quickly make some art and sell it easily are going to be a bit mistaken. It’s not necessarily a fast cash grab. That being said, I am most curious about how NFTs will be used in spaces beyond art and collectibles because that could be where some interesting things start to really happen...
Thanks for the breakdown. Also, that looked like so much work for the track. I don't think people realize how much work and thought goes into music production. Nicely done!
Hey Daniel, great video again thanks! I’m still a bit lost though… can you help me understand why collectors are edging on their seat to get ownership for a 3D animation from Steve Aoki? What can they do with it besides being able to say they own a ’Steve Aoki’ piece? I’m wondering this as there are so many great artists out there, why would this particular animation be so popular? And how does the artist know that this piece will be sought after that much when setting the price? In a way it still feels quite random to me. How do people find it within those open 5 minutes? Like you mentioned, is this currently only for those with a following? Also, have you heard of how nft's can impact the environment? I tried scrolling through the comments but didn’t find a mention about it yet.
Really love your work and the easy-going explanation. Certainly, this is a great possible opportunity for creatives. Yet, I have to admit, as someone not having (or seeking) a big social media following and being extremely non-famous, I wonder if my NFTs would stand out. I'm still keen to give it a go, but do worry that I'll just end up paying high minting fees that I won't even get back. I hope and would love it if it became a way for art to speak for itself in a crowded world. It saddens me that there appears to be so much attention to investing in famous items just because they are good investments. I know, art is subjective and there is a felling in these things that attracts people. But i want Web 3 to empower artists, whether they have been discovered yet or not.

my bro !! cool ass NFT !! Love it man
The gas fee puts me off creating NFTs. If I want to create 10 editions at $1 each it would cost me $80 maybe - depending on gas fees at that time?
Opensea and Mintable let you make Gassless NFTs, maybe you could try that. I have some lofi tracks I made a while ago I'm thinking of NFTizing them
The team behind ethereum is currently working on making the gas fee lower which can already be seen on the latest block.
@@dishantmishra3940 let's hope they make them as low as the BSC
But it's still an mp3 or wav file right? Why wouldn't they spread it for free like before?

I have always wanted an OP-1. I have doing music production and playing music way before ever getting into video. Also, a Live guy here. I have used so many DAWs but I always go back to Live. Looks like you had an Oliver sample on there. I am assuming you are Splice user as well. That has been one of the most revolutionary products for music production in years even over synths in my opinion. I really love your channel and your approach to things. Thanks for the great content as always.
Great NFT! good luck with it...thanks for the info!
I’m minting up 100 copies of a lot of my NFTs and I’m gonna sell maybe one or two copies in the beginning. The rest I’m gonna hold. Then I have a nice nest egg I’m doing 1/1 and not letting it go under 7 figures. Mid 7s.
Daniel, that was such a wonderful video! Congratulations on your first NFT. That's sooooo cool! Thanks for also taking us bts on your music-making process. As someone who is not a music creator, this process was absolutely fascinating. I am in AWE. I wonder how photography will fit into NFT's. I am mostly hearing about digital artists and video content as being part of it but will be interesting to see how this evolves.

Do you have to pay per listing or is it actually a one time fee and everything after the first listing is free?

Hi Daniel, thank you so much for your video. It was really helpful and easy to understand!!
I have a question, can we sell NFT with just audio?
I understand you added a sound on a short video, I was wondering if I can just make a music and sell it as NFTs.
Thank you!
Using OP-1 as a midi controller is the poshest thing ever.

super interesting! The gears are turning now....I'd love to learn Ableton Live more in depth. I got the free version with a purchase of an audio interface and played around a bit. I have no music background other than playing my stereo :-). Any ideas or recommendations on good beginner videos on Ableton? Thanks Daniel.
Love your work but have you thought about nft's impact on the environment?
Berdo Bears - Definitely a HODL for me!
Can someone explain to me how you can own a tweet of Jack Dorsey? Like, what do you actually own? Its not like each tweet is a unique file that only the creator has access to. Did he sell a screenshot of the tweet?

do you have to pay the gas fee everytime you put up a piece of art for sale?
Someone else saying in the comments, that on "mintable" is "gasless"/-or gas-free i suppose. Dont shoot the messenger aight? 😉😂

You can drp videos directly on Ableton
i wasn't sure if i could until i tried w/ this! very handy.
I don't understand the value of Jack Dorsey's first Tweet. It would seem that its public domain anyway. Or, the property of Twitter, not Dorsey.
I feel like only the more known artist are getting the attention. There's a lot of amazing work out there that no one is purchasing / investing in it.
he literally talked about that in the vid. and also, thats how art works
Fee's under 1$ The option to create smart contracts so you can sell or keep rights to a percentage of each future sale. The Air NFTs Platform will bring NFTs to the mainstream.
Great video. How does the transaction work? Does the artist have to send it to the buyer, or is it open to downloading after the buy? And the NFT you collared on is very cool! Liked the details on the music build, great track too. Hope it flies!
Ohio? Is this where the oracle resides?
Love this video! Learned a lot. And, I have a related Q: are there any need-to-knows if I wanted to work with an artist and host their art (full credit given to them on the nft description) on my marketplace account? So, I would be like the sales person for my friend's art on the blockchain. Is that allowed?
Holy fark, there is just so much I don't know. And I'm not just talking NFTs. The unknown unknowns. Everything.
Haha, great video by the way, thanks!
Can someone suggest a public group/forum on Twitter or reddit where one can join and chat with other guys talking about nfts and defi tokens!?
I have my own 3D abstract art for years in deviantart but cannot afford the current Ethereum price, just googled it and is at almost 2000 dollars so I guess I won't be able to sell any of my stuff or even try :(
thanks for the info.

yes
Hi Dan, I know i've been bugging you about Cardano - ADA - however news came out today, its being listed on Coinbase March 16th for Pro accounts and March 18th for gen-pop , up 20% today
I find NFT's a very great thing because nowadays numeric art were almost free if you know how to obtain it. While society is evolving, numeric artist are now rewarded to do great art exactly like a paint while the original is more expensive.

Is there any protection of steeling work from others, i mean like a video from youtube?
if it doesn’t originate from the person who created it, i think that will limit its value.

Ur nft really going for 100k 😯 do u have to use meta mask
that's not real though - we already sold it for $8800 and the new owner just has it listed for an insane amount.
@@DanielInskeep where can you list NFT's for sale?
I still can't rap my head around NFTs. Especially for the tweet nft. Why would someone want it? What would you do with it? I think this is the biggest slap in the face to let me know I'm getting old.
