Hi Brian, nice video. What's your honest opinion on CAI? Are they really that beneficial? Obviously they make the engine sound meaner, a plus. What about actual HP , tourqe, and mpg gains?
I got this kit and the vent tube clip is different from yours. It's orange and has not way to push and turn. Have you seen any that way and have any idea how to remove it? Thank you in advance and great video!
Thanks for watching! I have never come across that on an F150. Other models have a different style quick release where you have push in on the outer lip and pull out on the tube at the same time. Not sure if this applies.
@@jared4423 I had 2 mechanics take a look, a Ford Mechanic support engineer take a look as well and they were not able to figure it out. Finally spoke with AFE and they said if we take that off it will break and a new vent tube would have to be bought. They made me a 3D printed tool to remove it and I just got it. I would highly recommend reaching out to AFE as they have been great help
PLEASE HELP. Nice video I purchased the same air intake after watching the video to the best of my knowledge I installed everything perfectly For a first timer Everything was going good I put the tube facing the turbo then I got a check engine light I forgot to reconnect the line that goes back where the tube goes in I clicked it back into place I took it off the battery and let it sit for 20 minutes I drove it a little bit the check engine light is still on. any advice thanks
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS Unfortunately yes it’s still on I disconnected it one time for 10 minutes then I disconnected it again for 30 minutes I just came back now for driving it for 20 minutes just to see it will go off the truck feels fine but the light is still on I just feel really stupid not connecting The hose back in I watched your video step-by-step I made sure I put that little straw to face the turbo I connected back the oxygen sensor into the intake I make sure all the clamps are nice and tight The hose was the last thing that I had to connect I drove it about 15 minutes without the hose being connected then the light came on I connected it back still on
I want to say thank you for taking the time to try to help me figure out the solution I love all your videos and I’m so happy your wife got her bronco I’m having the same issue with my wife but her bronco we had to build another one at another dealership because the dealer that we were dealing with wasn’t helping us
No problem! If everything is installed correctly, you may have to get it scanned and see what the code is and clear it. Any Auto zone or Advance auto parts should be able to do that for you for free. Sorry to hear she is have issues with her Bronco, it is such a mess. I heard if you ordered one recently with any options at all, it was getting pushed to ‘23. Good luck!

Thanks for watching! Tremors are awesome, when is yours due in?
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS Supposed to be built December 1st and not sure on the delivery date yet.
Awesome video Brian!
Thanks for watching Andrew!
I need that for my 2013 f150. With 3.5. Sounds good
It does and you do!

Thanks for watching! Newer vehicles have gotten much more efficient but AFE has proven this one adds 18 HP and 17 LB FT of torque.
Is this for a 2.7 or 3.5 because my 2.7 doesn’t seem to have clip like that I can’t just push down and over like that do you have any recommendation?
Thanks for watching. This is for the 3.5L. Check this one out.

Hi buddy
I’m having a ford fusion and it’s giving an engine light code P1450-00 what should i do for that ?
The evap purge solenoid is the most common issue for that code.
