Thank you for the project on Thingiverse, and mostly the link to the soil moisture calibration web page, I learn much more on soil moisture measurements with respect to water volumetric in soil 8-)
Hi dude, love the project!! It's a really nice and simple design, well done! Any idea on when you will release the app and parts list? Would love to start building these for my plant babies.
I have an idea for the scalability of the 3d model. Can you make the mounting parts as a modular part inside of the base area. So separate parts to interchange them with other parts, brands and also to expand the scalability of future upgrades? By doing it this way, users will be able to add their own custom parts and make it a truly scalable open source project. Stronger pumps, 12v and 5v relays, LCD modules, and also mosfets to add growing lights to the plants would be a nice upgrade. The maker community can take over the rest of the build by making this part modular. I've seen a beautiful round LCD screen to add .gifs as a plant emotion for example. By making the parts modular people will be able to print larger pots, and keep the same dimensions of the pieces that are ment for mounting the hardware.
Thats a very good idea! I would really like to enable the community to easily make changes themselves and further develop Flaura and adapt it individually. But I wonder how the separate, modular mounting parts could be attached to the other parts. In principle, mounting holes in the housing parts are then required again, which prevent scalability again
I printed this in my resin printer. the large components didn't fit the printbed but sliced them in 4 peices and gleu'ed them toghether. seems to beworking out so far
Great solution! I would love to see a picture of a resign version. Would you mind uploading it somewhere? maybe on the Thingiverse page with the "Post a make" function :)
@@FlauraSmartPlantPot Yeah sure. The parts are in paint now as I use water washable resin so I wanted to separate the water from the resin. But I'll definitely upload once I'm done.
hello, as far as I can see you have upgraded to the new version of blynk. You know about the new version price policy. You mentioned this on GitHub. Is there a code and qr code suitable for the old version?
Zu kompliziert. Einfach zwei Töpfe ineinander, der obere hat unten Löcher und Dochte, die in das untere Wasserreservoir reichen. Keine Elektronik benötigt. Entsprechende stl gibt es ebenfalls im Netz.
This thing is way over engineered IMO. I'm building a similar plant waterer but I'm just going to use a mini pump with a usb cable, a usb adapter and a wall socket timer to water the plants once (or more) per day.
To answer your question, Your explanations are perfect!
Finally someone is answering my question :D Thanks!
Thank you for such a detailed explanation of prusa slicer settings for PETG filament. It helped a lot!
Really appreciate how thorough you've been with this build & your videos so far. Lookimg forward to the rest. Thx
Excellent work Martin! Patiently waiting for the rest!
Awesome! Very useful. Thank you for the tutorial. Can not wait to see the next video.
Thanks for the detailed description, can't wait to start by myself! Great job!!
just found this project, can not wait for the rest!
Awesome liked an subscribed, Thank-you for your time and effort
Super helpful and very detailed video! Thank you!

Es ist zwar schon etwas her, aber richtig gut deine Videos! :) Nur weiter so.
you are great bro thank you for helping us
Sweet!
I will just have to wait a bit longer for my part list :P
but hey, you made it into the video :P
@@FlauraSmartPlantPot I did notice my handsome face in the video :P

I'm already working on the parts list and hope to be able to release it within the first 10 days of September.

Sehr cool!
Amazing project!
Could you share the part list of the electronic components?
Thanks. I'm glad, that you like it :)

Awesome video. Thanks. Waiting for the future videos 🙂
One suggestion: please zoom in the screen. Text seems to be too small
I'm glad you like it and thank you for the tip. I'll do better with the next video :)
how do you do the electronic part? great idea and great video!

If you want a water tight print, just print normally and soak in polyurethane.
Great idea! did you already try that out? did you repeat the polyurethane baths or was 1 time enough?
Meh. I said screw it and just painted the parts with SLA Resin and cured it. They are now SMOOTH and Shiny and waterproof.
I love it when people find creative solutions. Good work! :)

Hey Flaura, schau mal bei Thingiverse vorbei ( hab dir eine PM geschickt) ;)
Btw geiles Projekt
