that drag does sound nice. I wonder if abu uses some special carbon with different texture. That river is gorgeous. U have to send me a text when i should go trout fishing. 11 months here and still haven't caught a single trout! : ) With all of this trout gear...
18：47 the sound from the rod when you cast that lure I can tell how stiff the rod is and how fast it travel. And I can see the rod was loaded and there is no rebound on the tip whatsoever. Beautiful rod.
I bought the 1.85 I'm in the same boat I wish I picked up the 1.95 to have both its my favorite area trout rod by far! I sure hope that they restock in the future! Great vid randy🤙

So I have to ask, body size on the 1000 vs 2000? Im assuming theyre like other companies and the frame is the same size but the spool itself is different? or is the 2000 larger? Thank You! Fingers crossed for a side by side on the two.. appreciate it!!
The specs aren’t available for the handle. I would measure it but all my gear is in storage and won’t get it until Thursday. I’m pretty sure though it is 35mm.

Hi Troutmagnetman, does your zenon have any back-play in the anti reverse? mine does and it must be defective.
None at all. I have 2 of them… the 1000S and 2000SH.
I might add my nephew just got a 1000S and his is rock solid also.
What line did you have spooled on the reel?
