On light tackle, even smaller Bluegill put up a good fight -- I caught a dozen today while shore fishing an urban pond with trout magnets with those Daiwa jig heads with sized 12 hooks. Even if I don't catch many or particularly large ones, it's a whole lot of fun. Thanks Randy!
Here in ms I’ve noticed on our smaller lake fish spawned early this year I blame it such a weak winter. The bluegill are acting about normal but the crappie and redear were way early
While I don’t have the slow taper special the Eradicator baitfinesse lineup is equally as amazing as the spinning rods! Hard to get a rod with a full Torzite guide train for less as well. Cheers Randy!
Are these still being made? I picked up one of these a few years back from Japan but found 6' 7" too short for me in the wide open waters of the west so I put it away. I should take it out again. Perhaps testing it one time is a bit premature to form a long term opinion.
@@2musiclover534 hey music! I’m not sure if they’re actively being produced, I think the latest round of Eradicator rods came out in 2020?, but some models are still available. The model I purchased is the 6’10” faster beat II. I’ve put a few fish on it, from tiny dink bass to 1.5 lb rainbows, and it’s an entertaining rod that I think can handle some larger fish. I’d say it’s one of the cheapest ways to get into a Torzite guide train. Check jdmtackleheaven as they carry most of the baitfinesse lineup. I think the 55 and 66 slow tapers are oos but they do have the 77. Cheers!

Thanks for watching......yeah it's been an odd spawn and I think I have missed the shell cracker.
I can have fun fishing for gills everyday of the year 🤷🏾🎣 especially on lures

Nice rods for sure...thanks for watching.
@@troutmagnetman cheers Randy! The Eradicator is a great lineup of rods =).
Beautiful catches! That one near the end that got hung up for a second was a nail biter! 😂
Thanks Chris.....
I'd call those great catches any day of the week. Nice and thick for the length.
What are the mixed fish? Just caught some of those last week.
Thanks for watching. The mixed are bluegill and shell cracker cross.
