One punch from the bastard can totally wreck you (especially if he follows up on another attack). I just stun lock him by throwing him around with the beast style.
In this video Kiryu entered Brawler style exactly 15 times, which meant going through the same knuckle cracking animation 15 times, and with such an audible cracking noise coming from his hands i must ask: Kiryu, are there any bones left?!
The cracking sound is a result of bits of lubricating fluid in the joints becoming a gas that gets trapped in small pockets. The gas gets released when you move your fingers about in certain ways which causes the gasses to be pushed free and cause a popping/cracking sound.

I am playing through 0 and I just got the quick change suit, i shrugged it off because I thought it made the animation faster, but I didn’t notice any difference so I thought the time it shaved off wasn’t beneficial, what I didn’t realize is that the animation is so fast it freezes time around kiryu

I mean you could clear your name and get your life back… or you could attend every fighting class in the game and just buy your way back in through the bank of shakedown. Yeah I like that one.
Gotta love how, if you're reasonably skilled with the various fighting styles, you can abuse the fuck out of Mr. Shakedown pretty early in the game even without unlocking the legend styles. You can practically break the game fighting him if you're good enough at playing Brawler and have enough booze...
That finisher on Brawler style does not look familiar to me. The one where you grab his leg after you knock him down. In fact a few moves here I don’t recognize. Damn, I need to play through this game again.
