you're comparing someone who played in this league for 18 seasons to how a rookie/second year player looked when he was in charge. It's rare for a rookie to play well, even rarer for them to be leaders so early.

Well the first six games are a gauntlet. Gonna show very quickly how legit this unit is.
4-2 they are for real, 3-3 okay slow start they will get rolling, real worst case old fashioned jets 1-5 that’s not gonna happen.
If they go 4-2 or better the entire AFC is on notice.

I hate to be the harbinger of doom, but if that was their first string o-line they are likely to be in big trouble during the season. Aaron got everything off very quickly but it was a good thing bc he had no more time left b4 the pocket collapsed. I wish the best for the Jets but I think this is their weakness.
No one tell Rich that Aaron will have to play in actual NFL games this season, those things are dangerous

One thing I noticed was Rogers was getting almost all of his passes off in 3 second of less. It's hard for any defensive line to get to the quarterback in 3 seconds or less. Another thing picture Rogers passing a screen pass to Dalvin Cook or Breece hall instead of one of those receivers that got tackled. Yes as long as the offensive line continues to improve the Jets are going to be alright.
A good QB makes the o line great, pocket presence, blitz checks, getting the ball out quick.
I like Robert Saleh; he seems like a good guy, but Aaron Rodgers is our head coach.

I hate to say it but Jets aren't even going to make the playoffs. It is nice to see Rogers make a 180. I have never seen him so damn confident and focused.
He was with a top 10 organization and only won 1 Super Bowl. He is now with a bottom 10 organization. That equates to zero super bowls.

Top 10 organization who never put together a top 10 d or ST unit since they won the SB in 2010. Jets already on paper have Rodgers 2nd or 3rd best roster he’s ever been on. Obviously injuries and regression can happen but that’s the reality.

You want but the bottom line and fact is that on paper the jets have as talented of a roster that Rodgers has ever been on since the pack defense was ranked #2 in 2010/2011 and their offense was just closer to good overall but potential to be amazing on any given Sunday. You can’t compare the packers last 30 years to the jets upcoming season and roster and make some grand point about organizations. Rodgers and favre carried the organization outside of the few years they could put complete teams around them to get them over the hump or pick them up during a stretch of games a time or two like every good team does.

I’m a broncos fan and I hate Hackett just as much as you guys, but Hackett is a good offensive coordinator. Head coach is a whole different beast he wasn’t ready for. He helped get rodgers back to back mvp’s, but I’m hoping the offense sucks and we destroy them when we play them .

If the Jets O-Line can remain healthy (I mean, really if a lot of guys can remain healthy, but O-line takes predominance) then the Jets will be in any and all games this year. As a Jet fan and GW fantasy owner, I’m super excited to see this team get in its groove after that short preseason showing from our starters. Yes, I know, preseason means jack, but it certainly showed that the connection between 8 and 17 is REAL and will only grow stronger as the season progresses. It all starts with punching Buffalo in the mouth Week 1; if the Jets can do that, I’ll feel confident about going either .500 or a game above our first six games, and those are the toughest ones we got. If we can manage that, look out world. And yes, I realize there are 4 ifs baked into this comment (now 5) but let a Jets fan DREAM, GODDAMNIT!

As long Rodgers feels like the Jets are committed to getting better then the Jets will get the best version of Rodgers. If the Jets go into cruise control, start to accept a "business as usual" mentality, where winning the division and playoff game is good enough, then Rodgers will slip into that same mentality.

can't blame him or any jets fan , this is the best qb we've had in the last 30 years, and AR is an amazing locker room guy who knows how to make playing in the NFL as fun as a backyard game. that in itself is worth so much more than anything. he makes others around him better, and he doesn't needto be perfect , they just need to play like team.

I think Rodgers is just misunderstood by the media. They use his clips over and over for click bait and dollars. The man has matured and shows a lot of growth, humility and grace. Not about football, but about life. The bigger game.
Man, I got into football and became a Packers fan because of Rodgers; and the way I feel about him has made me question my sexuality for several years - not really. Rich sounds exactly the way I've been feeling about this guy ever since I started watching football!! As a Packers fan, I'm really looking forward to this Jets season!!
Interesting that Rodgers said that all Becton needed was some TLC. Exactly the opposite when Mike LaFleur wanted to trade Becton after a bad training camp against Carl Lawson.
It bodes well for turning Wilson into a pro QB moving forward as LaFleur had no clue.

There are 3 things you can expect to get from Aaron Rodgers this year. One is a very good regular season likely leading his team to the playoffs. The second is disappointing play in the post season. The third is that nothing that goes wrong will be his fault.
Oh Jets fans. Your dreams will be crushed by week 9. Jets will struggle. Rodgers will blame his teammates. It’s going to be brutal.
Rich doesn’t know football very well to be honest. You can see a lot of things about Zach Wilson, but he can make every single throw. You could say he doesn’t have enough experience yet….. but Zack Wilson is literally top-five of the most talented throwers in the NFL right now. He looks just like Aaron Rodgers as far as throwing ability.

It's funny too..... this was a preseason game and eventhough (for the jets it was alittle more important for them to win and show grit)... the giants treated the game as a preseason... and the giants (especially their backup can actually play!) I believe the giants will win the division kinda hilarious that now we finally got Isiah Simmons when we were supposed to get him in 2020! So the giants have come full circle!
As for the jets... you'll go 9-8 this season... but

As a patriots fan, I sort of feel bad for Jets nation because all the media out there is saying they will win the AFC East. The Oline is full of probowlers and first round picks! Just replace the center with our second round pick Tippman and its a top 10 offensive line. They are finally all healthy 🤞. If they can stay that way look out!
