I got same frame bike with 48V 2000w motor battery 48V 20Ah and It go 60km/h top speed and constant 50km/h
Why yours go only 70km/h with 72V battery??
Good question! The top speed of the bike is dependent on the voltage of the battery yes, but also the wheel diameter (mine is 19" rim on 3" tyre, overall diameter of 25") and most importantly the winding of the motor (or kV).
This kV is how many rpm the motor does per Volt. This motor is a 5T winding which is less speed and more torque. You can get a 3T which would give more speed and less torque but it is important to match the load of the motor with the top speed as to not overload it
Also if the controller has field weakening you can get more top speed.
with that mxus motor I would recommend getting some statorade and hubsinks will increase the performance about 75%
Really?? Does the statorade and heatsinks do that much? I am planning on upgrading to a bigger motor but if that works I might postpone it 😅
@@Asvybre when the heat wave hits, you'll probably be real glad you did add the grin tech statorade, along with heat sinks. I've had them on my SQ205 for several years, and just ordered them both for a 273 ... instructions say to ride the motor hard after injecting their ferrofluid, so it is properly distributed
After this comment I did go to ebikes.ca website and simulate the motor with and without statorade. I did find that at @65km/h the motor without anything overheats (+200ºC) after 13min while the motor with statorade only gets to 99ºC.
@@Asvybre that's cool. if you're pushing the motor or doing anything performanced based with a hub motor it's basically essential

I can tell you that the frame and front forks were used, that's why the discount. Other than that what did you find more expensive?

Yes the frame in the video is used, that's why the discount. The motor you can get for cheap if you buy directly from MXUS distributor. I ordered 5 different ebike motors and got a good discount.

Quanto ao volume de fundo, dá para perceber com clareza a tua voz ainda, só que acho que a música está alta ao ponto de poder virar distração, e tira um bocado da tua explicação do processo!

Olá Nuno, se o controlador do teu kit for realmente de 3000 W continuo, só vais descarregar a 40 - 50 amperes. Como a tua bateria é de 100 amperes, julgo que será absolutamente tranquilo usar essa bateria com esse sistema. Força no teu projeto!

Would it be possible to use a cyc mid drive motor on this frame??
I am not sure about the dimensions but it looks as if it would fit. If you can get a 3d model of the motor try it out on the 3d model of the ebike I provide on the description :)
how many cm is the interior width of the battery?
You want to know the width of the battery or the width of the frame? The battery is 6 cells wide and about 130mm.

I assembled the wheels myself, learned to lace wheels a few years ago. Was a bit of a trial and error with the spoke sizer but ended up working fine. The brake calipers bolt on the frame horizontally so you need an adapter (usually comes with a new set of brakes).
Wasnt there enough space for the controller to go inside above battery?
Probably, but not sure you want to stuff them that tightly together due to heat
I am not sure, I wanted it to go on the outside as I need more space inside for the charger and other accessories. but if you wanted inside it would probably work 😅
How did you manage to this frame at 200€? We're more close to ~400€😅

What about quality of this frame?
The only real issue is with the swing arm bushing, the original is way too soft and loose. I made my own out of brass and POM

love your build , I saw you used 6 18650 wide. did it fit snuggly or did it have more room left? 18mmx6 = 108mm . I want to use 5 26650 cells, 5x 26 = 130mm. do you think 130mm will fit ?
You should have close to 143mm of space inside the frame. I really think that 130mm is too much and might be too tight for fit with insulation and the battery casing. If you use spacers with your cells the distance is going to be bigger than 130mm as the spacer adds a small gap between cells.

Nice build and really cost effective! Have you rode it on rain? I'm just wondering is the sabvoton waterproof. I have the same controller and I'm also planning to put it outside of the frame

I used it in a bit of rain but honestly I am more worried about the motor than the controller. The controller does get some water on it specifically if you don't have mud guards like me but if you cover the connectors and phase wires it'll be fine!
On the other end the motor does not like water at all and I am going to open it soon to see if there's anything inside!
@@Asvybre been worried about my SB MQCON svmc 72150 also mounted in the same location. So, i took the four screws holding the side panels off... and wiped gasket maker amply along the edges. Worth adding some more where the cables pass thru. Something i should also do on my ONYX Kelly controller, been through many rain storms, never had an issue, better safe than sorry, regardless.
Thanks for the heads up. I am going to have a couple of 3d printed covers on both sides but honestly it won't be water tight so I might as well do that to make sure I don't have condensation inside the controller!

Thanks! On road I get 50-55 km, off-road having some fun will close to 20-25 km!
Battery temps remain stable (5 to 10 deg above ambient) as this pack is design to sustain 100 amp continuous and I am close to 70. No issues so far, only the motor getting a bit hotter than desired, upgrade to come soon ;)
