@187bronco187 n64 with it's gb transfer pack , rumble accessorie, expansion pack, mic and various other accessories it was great. Playstation set a standard with cd's file size vs cartridge and we were able to have cutscenes and longer games. Resident evil 2 on a cartridge is black magic and was forged in Mordor or something. Both were great.
The PS1 had such a deep catalog, it just made the PS2's lean launch year seem like the Sony Luxury Elite collection. Invest in your Executive Mindset with Smuggler's Run or Midnight Club. Touch up your blue eyeshadow and boot FantaVision. Sanitize that 90's grime with Street Fighter: -Windex Overdrive- EX4. And...Others.
Holy hell...you brought me back to the good ol times. I was so into this game for 5 years none stop. 2005-2010. Watching this made me feel like missing my home. I might come back to it and see how it is. I tried ff14.. but just didn't feel that same like I did with 11. I miss all the people I met back then.
Awesome compilation, makes for a pleasant work day as this runs in the background. I enjoy how you folks put game episodes in with the rest as they're some I have not seen before and fit well with the marathon theme! Thanks for the upload, and have a great weekend :)
I agree, I was also not happy about FFXI and XIV being online. Why wouldn't they just call it Final Fantasy Online 1 and Final Fantasy Online 2? I was (and still am) really disappointed that we didn't have classic, single player RPG experiences for FFXI and XIV.
I think you've changed my mind about revelations 2! I'm currently going through the whole collection and now I'm kinda looking forward to getting to re rev2
Have you guys ever thought about doing your top 50 or 100 favorite games of all time? I’d personally love to see those lists and hear insights on the games. Keep up the great work guys.
I wish there was the possibility to connect the PS2 online and play FF 11. It would be nice for companies to allow online games like MAG to be hosted on alternate servers
No I let them know last night that the Castlevania rondo of blood episode was rendered incorrectly. It was super zoomed in. Issue with rendering this vid in 1080 when the original was in 4k.
Thanks for the heads up on that! I added that episode late in the game, and I just totally forgot that it was in 4K. When I spot checked it, I must have just looked at a part where I couldn't tell. I appreciate the help!
@@mylifeingaming no problem. It took me a second to notice as well when it started up. I thought hmm did they want to zoom in this close to the game case? Haha
I sold my NES, SNES and all my games just to buy a PlayStation and a copy of Tekken 3. I kick myself every time I think about it. I did get a TON of use out of the PlayStation and played it to absolute death.
PS2 needs a de-interlacer retroRGB had mike chi on & he showcased a protype mike hinted after chip shortage it might be released but with the PS2 list of games & 4k TVs we need something it looks like crap compared to GC & Xbox 480i is trash basically PS2 is the only console that dose not support ANY form of progressive scan for 98% of the games
[Try4ce] The RetroTINK 5X has been out for a while now and does do proper deinterlacing! I have to admit though, I've grown to appreciate 480i in recent years, especially PS2 480i. While 480p is always a better source for upscaling, I sometimes prefer how 480i looks on a CRT compared to 480p. 480i often has softer geometry edges and somehow it almost looks like there could be infinite detail, especially on a PVM. 480i can look really really crisp and clean on the right CRT.
@@mylifeingaming Im playing threw the PAL ver of 24 the game it has 480p you should check it out the tony chase mission is really hard but what great game
OP spends a lot of time complaining about graphical issues that frankly I can't see no matter how hard I look. It just comes across as whining. It's not a good look and ruined what i hoped would be a good video.
Are you watching on a phone? You really have to see the comparison in person or on a 1440p monitor. Its almost invisible to the naked eye if looking at it through a phone screen.
"deserving of the number in it´s title" well that doesn´t really mean much anymore anyway given that 9 was the last great final fantasy and 10 the last good
means nothing saying the community of game X is great and fantastic, means nothing. did you make friends in school when you were 6? yeah they were nice people huh, oh you got bullied had no friends? that is all subjective, community can change for each person not everyone has the same friends as you or experience the community you do, its completely subjective and shouldnt be a thing that is talked about at all. players come and go and perspectives are different for everyone, community as a critique or ranking system for a game is just asinine and ridiculous.
BABE WAKE UP NEW MLIG JUST DROPPED
PlayStation 1 and 2 I feel are the best times for creativity in gaming.
I agree 100%. It was a time before corporate America dug in.
101% great times to have been a gamer! 4th 5th and 6th gen were the absolute best.-
At least in AAA gaming
let me guess. it´s what you grew up with

I started 11 in 03 and that was my first mmo, loved it and found out about time cost lol.
I was a tarutaru from Bahamut server and was the paladin leader of my linkshell for 10 years. Best part of my life and will never regret it.

Final Fantasy XI to start things off, excellent!! Was a ton of fun to run around Vana'diel again with you and Dave.
[Try4ce] I haven't checked in for a bit, is the group still going strong?
@@mylifeingaming Admittedly, it's been some time for me as well. Based on what I see from Ganiman, it is!

Klanoa was also a special unlockable racer with his own motorcycle in one of the ps2 MotoGP games =))
56:10 I cant believe how good the riginal Rondo' looks in comparison to... well all the other versions!
Love watching your videos. Always something to learn. It helped me a lot during the pandemic.

Bob's your Uncle's de-interlacing method.
Love these guys

Well, the pc version is still running! And still have updates
one day the sun will rise on us MAGchads once more
power of the cell…
The PC version still exists. I don't know why you'd want to do the PS2 version given it's horrible performance.
Gradius V is a real gem.
uh i discovered a nice channel 😊
It is amazing imo. The RGB masterclass videos in particular.
We need more of you and playstation :)
Re-uploded. Saw this in the morning. Copyright problem?

No talk about retrotink 5x which surpasses everything as a scalar for ps2?
[Coury] Not in that video because it was made 3 years before the 5X was even released. We did a full video on it a couple of months ago though.
@@mylifeingaming oh interesting I was just looking at the upload date. My apologies

“Airdate: Never” 😮
Do you already try pound cable or similar?
[Try4ce] Yes. They're pretty awful.
Its worth noting, US people, that the PAL ps1 version final fantasy VI is not as slow as US version
So is the best way to play ps one games like ffIX on the ps2 with rgb or component or on the ps1? Anyone. I was left a little confused
[Try4ce] PS1 or PS2 with RGB, PS2 with component, or PS1Digital HDMI mod (newer than this video) are all great options.

The worst part of mmo's. You spend a lot of time, but you cant revisit years later.
Do you wanna try pronouncing Nobuo Uematsu again.

80% of the time this dude says final fantasy, he says, "Fial Fantasy"

There is not mor wikipedia PS2 480p supported game list no more. Some body deleted at all. Lucky I have a copy on my channel.
? Wikipedia isnt the only source for information. There are plenty of websites that have lists.
4.5 hours?!?!?
Worth it
ayy reupload!
yaay more marathon, more sitting and doing nothing! while soaking up gaming knowledge of course.
doing nothing? sacrilige! and i thought it was a requirement to have these on the second monitor while gaming
