The father of a cousin bought him this game for Christmas thinking it was a Street Fighter 2 and my cousin was extremely disappointed to see that it was an adventure game but it was still worth it because it was difficult and among all the cousins we spent a whole week locked up in his house trying to finish it, total, we were all on summer vacation enjoying the post-Christmas days. My cousin was never able to have a SNES because his father preferred that he dedicate himself to school and enjoy his childhood without being locked up looking at screens, in the end he gave me his game and to this day I keep it. One Sunday of last year, after decades without playing it again, I put it on my NES and finished it in half an hour, it made me nostalgic and sad, many of our older relatives are no longer with us, but the music of this game continues to linger in our memories.

Kevin Striker it’s the difficulty. I mean, I never beat it as a kid. I beat it a few years ago and even then you need a drink a two and chase with Red Bull to get your fingers to move fast enough to beat it. But, the game itself plays very smoothly and without much glitch.

+Kevin Striker: You have nothing common with capcom street fighters Ken. Calling you 'Ken' in US version of SF 2010 was only sellbait. But still, your game was awsome, hard as fuck (comparable to ninja gaiden, also comparable in action pace), challenging and satisfying.
Real talk: This is Capcom's second best NES release after Mega Man 2. It's that good. It's weird as hell with a super steep learning curve, but provides some of the best 8-bit action ever once mastered.
19:32 sounds like an epiphany, an 8-bit spiritual awakening. Beautiful. And I loved that they saved it for just about the very end of the game. Music was what Capcom did best in the 8-bit era. I just wish they made that level more memorable/meaningful.
This music has never left me since the time I first heard it. It still influences my compositional decisions. There isn’t a moment on this soundtrack that takes its presence for granted, every moment makes you feel something.

You are right, even the Japanese title had Street Fighter in it, but not Final Fight. Also the storyline is totally different in the Japanese version, it doesn't mention the street fighter circuit. And the main character name was... yeah, you know. But yeah, the title is what it is. Misleading title for a great game.
I don't see the reasoning behind that "Street Fighter" subtitle, considering SF1 had been out for 3+years by the time 2010 was released in Fall 1990, and was nowhere near as popular as its sequel which would be released the following year. It just seemed like a throwaway reference (Japan), and a lame attempt to tie it to an existing Capcom title (U.S).
