This was one of the greatest and one of the most frustrating games that I’ve ever played in my life.

Such an underrated, amazing game. I'm sure the title kinda ruined it. But if you forget about the title and want to play a good looking, challenging sci-fi action platformer, this is really amazing. The soundtrack is fantastic, the controls are pretty good, but needs some time to get used to. I revisit this game many times.
I remember saving money for weeks to buy an "alternative" copy of this amazing game in the early 90s, this superb songtrack brings me so many wonderful memories with my old pals and bro playing it for several hours. A few months ago I found someone selling the exact same cartridge on web, guess what I did ? XD
Love this game. It was given to me as a joke by one of my friends, but I have played it through many times since then. It is adequately challenging, the controls are great and there is a great variety of bad guys and stages. A real unsung classic.
Rockman Ringo This is one of the most interesting games I have ever played in terms of control. It controls incredibly strangely, but incredibly well. It makes me interested in a discussion about what constitutes "good control". I say that because the overwhelming impression by newer people to this game is that it controls poorly. But back in the day, before we knew that a game could "control poorly" you just learned the controls. then you could make the game do whatever you wanted.
Some of this reminds me of the Beatles' best music if the Beatles had written video game music. But also so much more. French organ music, Bela Bartok, all the crazy experimentalist guys. Love it.
Grew up playing the hell outta this. Definitely needs a reboot. When I was younger really thought this was Ken until the age of the internet let's you down lol
Well, I guess it would be best to say that it is your favorite soundtrack, seeing that Kevin Striker is your UA-cam name. Personally, my favorite soundtracks are from the Mega Man games, Akumajou Densetsu, and Journey to Silius, but that doesn't say much. This still has a kick-ass soundtrack.
Uno de los juegos más difíciles de la era de Nintendo pero sin duda forma parte de mi lista en los mejores juegos. Un juego de ciencia ficción que por lo mismo lucía futurista... me cautivaba cada vez que lo jugaba!!
In a 100 years, someone is gonna think this game really did come out in 2010 because idiots never check the actual dates of when stuff happened and think everything happened in the same micro instant every century.
So one guy made a sweet metal medley of this ost but only got like 4 songs in. If someone out there would be kind enough to Metal the fuck out of the rest of it,, I could die a happy man. I guess one day I might have to even do it myself...but I cannot play like this!!! This is by far the most melodically insane and rich Nintendo ost out there. Plz guys let's finish this shit!!!!
Rex Brown I guess it has something to do with the dev kits that companies had? I have no idea how 8 bit games were made, but most games from the same company have similar sounds. All Konami games sound similar, for example. All Capcom games sound similar. All Nintendo games sound similar. Etc.
+Rex Brown It was a woman named Junko Tamiya that composed this music, actually. She also did the music for Bionic Commando, Sweet Home, and others. The reason Capcom's NES games generally had a similar sound is because their 80's composers all relied on an in-house sound engine developed by Yoshihiro Sakaguchi, another Capcom employee at the time.
***** I disagree. I would say that it's because the things they did well became no longer fashionable. I mean, people listen to this soundtrack and think it's amazing, but how many games have music anything like this nowadays? Now it's all about terrible atmospheric chords ripped out of Batman Begins. Rock and punk inspired music with strong melodies just isn't fashionable. The same thing goes for gameplay. Capcom dominated platform games and then 2d Fighters. Then the market changed and demanded cinematic whatever-whatever. Capcom is pretty poor at that.
Damn... we lived so advanced in 2010 according this game... What happened in 2011 that forced us to roll back -_-. And what happened after 2015? Where did hover boards and self shrinking clothes from Back to the Future go?
I want to throw my controller at the wall just thinking about how frustrating this game was to beat. Good game, but pretty challenging for all of you wanting to play it on emulator.
smoothrasin That's because it's incredibly, incredibly hard. It's one of those games that's just not made anymore. You literally have to play and replay the game over and over and over again in order to figure out how to win. It's as much a puzzle as it is an action game.
JazGalaxy DAMN STRAIGHT! I beat God Of War 1 2 &3 plus many other Playstation games but This F@#KN game probably would still kick my ass TODAY! And again before you know it after I lose that last guy there I am slamming the F@#KN controller on the F@#KN FLOOR LOSING MY F@#KN MIND! LOL
+Sir Pumpernickel I was not able to beat this game until my daughter was born in 2009 (lol I turned 29 that year) and I got this dam game in 1989. Too bad they don't make games like this anymore... I have my daughter playing all of these old titles.

4:40 is where nostalgia hits me like a meteor & that's the music that always stays in my mind. Favourite track.
Yes!!! I want someone to do a guitar cover of it!
That makes the two of us, this theme is carved in my mind.
This takes me back to better days
This was one of the greatest and one of the most frustrating games that I’ve ever played in my life.

A lot of people thought it was a street fighter game.
One of my favorite games from my childhood. The plot is also quite good!
yeah its awsome! the music, graphics and control! abit wierd gameplay and story but its getting there.
Buddy this game is cool AF AS it is!!!!!

8:31 Kick-f***ing-ass! The whole soundtrack is amazing, but this one almost brings a tear to my eye. Good old 8-bit magic will never die.
PeyserConley X
Exactly. Good Music, the look and legendary gameplay. Nothing beats it.
THAT MUSIC SCENE IS SO KICKIN ASS INCREDIBLE...
1:46, 4:40, and 8:31 were my favorites growing up. I loved this tough ass game.
Makes U wanna remix this doesn't it?
True
ah man 8:31, fuck those flying plant mother fuckers! hahaha
8:30 best song!
Love this game. It was given to me as a joke by one of my friends, but I have played it through many times since then. It is adequately challenging, the controls are great and there is a great variety of bad guys and stages. A real unsung classic.

every single episode of the game and its soundtrack was perfect.. its definitely one of my best childhood memories.. and my favorite is: 14:46
I could cry man this is one of my favorite games and all the music in this game makes me reminisce so much ! Thanks for uploading this !
4:40 City Lights (Planet 1 - Area 3) the best!
My childhood in 20 minutes! :')
Rooted song is amazing, perfectly a Heavy Metal song.
Yeah, that's some good old school NES music.
Even after all this time, I still can wonder how a so simple console and
a so simple game can present a so nice soundtrack.
I play this game every time just to listen to the soundtrack.
Me too. I love the songs of this game.
Listening today. This soundtrack is pure art.
One of my favorite NES soundtracks and my favorite game, right behind Life Force.
i love this game
14:46 Another great one that was misused. It deserved more than just the short level it was used in.
Grew up playing the hell outta this. Definitely needs a reboot.
When I was younger really thought this was Ken until the age of the internet let's you down lol
I burned a tv playing this game, amazing times
Wow thanx for uploading this never thought I would hear this music again
huge hit of nostalgia..
wow, i'm surprised. this sound track is actually really good.
No surprise here, the entire game is really good.
Before: "This music sounds good."
Now:"OMG! How can they make these music so amazing with the NES hardware? They are the Master!"
In a 100 years, someone is gonna think this game really did come out in 2010 because idiots never check the actual dates of when stuff happened and think everything happened in the same micro instant every century.
yeah a bit of a challenging game but the soundtrack was really good - probably one of the best of the NES classic games.
Man loved beating this game.
Same here. That was the first side moving level. I just wish they would remake this game with the same music with real instruments. Thumbs up to you.
I remember playing this game back on the nes when it first came out. I think it came with a free Megaman sticker or something in the box.
Super awesome soundtrack.
Memories...90...
4 minutes in it sounds EXACTLY like the Crazy Bus music.
10:59
Makes me wanna go watch Dune.
This game was so weird.
I loved it and the moment when I finished the game, I felt like some sort of achiever.
I'm also thinking the same. This was a very weird and underrated game.
BUT in a good way ✌️
best game ever
so good, almost reminds me of Mega Man 2 (or Mega Man 3...)
The Best game of NES 8 BITS... :)
Wow dude. I'm 25 and listening songs i can remember clarity of stages :o
5:27whitney Houston saving all my love
The game is a bit tricky, but I still love it. I have Stairway to the Light and Blazing City Scape downloaded as nsf files for Famitracker.
Thank you! Very god music!
Anyone know what level song 16:28 was from???
@ 4:40 is 🔥
this soundtrack is the tits
lotta prog musicians today trying to emulate shit like this
Exactly!! I just have to hear this whole thing done pure metal it would set me free lol
A lotta this music could've very well been Megaman music.
Rex Brown I guess it has something to do with the dev kits that companies had? I have no idea how 8 bit games were made, but most games from the same company have similar sounds. All Konami games sound similar, for example. All Capcom games sound similar. All Nintendo games sound similar. Etc.
+Rex Brown Made by the same company and both were released the same year...
CtRacerX True, but the dude who worked on SF2010 never did any of the NES Megaman games.
+Rex Brown It was a woman named Junko Tamiya that composed this music, actually. She also did the music for Bionic Commando, Sweet Home, and others.
The reason Capcom's NES games generally had a similar sound is because their 80's composers all relied on an in-house sound engine developed by Yoshihiro Sakaguchi, another Capcom employee at the time.
wholewurld Either way, it's awesome.
pasted this game from 5pm to 1230am. hard couldn't save on nes.
YES
4:11 Return Of Crazybus
8:31 Rooted
Ripping my heart out rite now!
Never played the game but man this song is awesome! What happend to Capcom since then???
Quality decline, same thing that happens to all developers eventually, sadly.

Damn... we lived so advanced in 2010 according this game... What happened in 2011 that forced us to roll back -_-. And what happened after 2015? Where did hover boards and self shrinking clothes from Back to the Future go?
Probably fell into a pocket dimension and got et by frog monsters

4:41 Hell yeah!
Final track sounds dub step-like.
I still play this on emulator
Am i from the future for this? Well hello, I am from 2020.
I want to throw my controller at the wall just thinking about how frustrating this game was to beat.
Good game, but pretty challenging for all of you wanting to play it on emulator.
Hermoso.

I just wish they could do a remake of the game on PC , same stuff better graphics only .

Till this day I still never beat this game!!
smoothrasin That's because it's incredibly, incredibly hard. It's one of those games that's just not made anymore. You literally have to play and replay the game over and over and over again in order to figure out how to win. It's as much a puzzle as it is an action game.

then you must listen NINTENDO DRUMMER with street fighter 2010
Actually... no. It's not my favorite video game soundtrack (not even on the NES), although I'd eat my goddamn hat if I could tell you what WAS.
impresionante
yössssss ;)
Cyboplasm
not that i don't like the NES graphics , don't get me wrong.

@@heavyrush7635 i don't think it was meant to be in stereo
