Hey Robbie, image quality is slightly better in the GoPro 11 IMO. I’ve sold on my DJI action camera a while back. Too many issues with overheating to be honest.
Hi Vic, I bought the Gopro 11 Hero black and all of the accessories from watching your video's. I've never taken video before and the settings video was sic :) thank you. I hate to be the complete newb but I was wondering if you wouldn't mind doing a video on editing, the software you use, your thought process - for someone as inept as me. I know there are videos on this topic but compared to all of the other videos on the same topic as your video's nobody explains it like you do. I hope that you will consider and thx. james

you need to go to settings and change mode to control "pro" so that you can access all the features explained in the video
All I want to do is turn on the camera and record in 1080/60 video. And, have that locked in every time I turn on the camera. Right now I have it in the easy setting mode and the bottom of the screen says ''time warp half speed''. I don't know what that means or how to change that as I've no need to warp time. Can you help?
I know I'm a year late, lol. I just bought the Go Pro 11. I'm still exploring the settings. I'm excited to start using it for my adventures. 😊

You should also mention that you don't have to physically press the mode button to change between video, photo, time lapse. You can just swipe left or right on the home screen. Great video BTW. Very helpful. 👍

I film with GoPro 11 on my Chanel but when I film 16:9 football Fir.Person. I lose many things so as u can see in my yt video I write on 8:7 and this is not the best for yt ,so what can I do ?

Hey there. Best advice on filming around water depends on the day. Sunny days with lots of glare on the water, use a polarising filter to help with the glare

Awesome. Congrats. Just to get going, start with auto or use one of the presets. 5.3k looks great but you’ll need a decent sd card. Otherwise safe travels and have fun.

Hi Vic! great video! i have a question, if i gonna do a Walk-video whith my go pro 11 hero, and have the camera in a frame belt on my chest, just to walk i park/ city environment, a bit snny weather, and some wind(near the water), whats is your best advice on video settings for this video walk ? =)
Hey Jon. Thanks. Depending on how bad the wind is you might be better off with an external mic with a wind muff. Otherwise if the camera is on your chest, keep your back to the wind. Natural wind shield 😆
Exposure wise, auto might be good enough to adjust all the time depending on where you are.

Hi Vic and thanks for information. is the a way of setting a max file size, I’ve shot a video and it’s almost 12 gb in size but that would that a months of Sundays to upload to GoPro cloud is there a way to spit the file into 3/4 gb file size or set,the go pro to record a max file size of 3/4 GB. Really new to this

Good morning. I bought a gopro 11 camera to record myself cooking. Turns out there is no preview while recording, is that correct? is it possible to change it somehow?
For some reason, my GoPro 11 automatically starts recording when I turn it on and turns off when I try to pause it with the Volta. How can I make it normal where I can start and pause my recording?

Why nobody talks about HEVC codec in which go pro records. I cant ran that codec because it is demanding for graphics card, and if I use handbrake or any other software quality is awfull. Because of that I am selling Go Pro 11 and buying dji

I tried a variety of resolutions, lenses, aspect ratios, and still can't enable 10-bit. I've seen the gopro webpage that lists which modes are compatible with 10-bit, but that doesn't seem to apply to me. How do I enable 10-bit?

I am trying to reach most best shots of it and get all those cinematic and cool timelapse features of it in future for my channel I just started 2 months ago and blowing up, currently reached 1150 subs and more then million views in 2 months, which I think is crazy:) And getting attention if my subs I will make max to improve all future vids with 11 creator
What actuakly makes this video less good is that you dont whow where the settings actually is, as that is verry comfusing for a lot of users.
You do not explain the menu system where to find all these settings, not for me anyway...

The manual says four selfie have narrow lens, but i cannot find it, where is it please?
I just bought a GoPro 12 and I love it but I have noticed that sometimes on certain skin tones things look a bit over sharpened and you can see a lot of blemishes on people’s skin, almost looks too sharp. If I’m just shooting scenery, everything looks gorgeous but when I’m shooting people or interviewing people, their skin looks a little sharp or even artifacts a bit. What do you suggest for more flattering results?
Bring the sharpness to low in the settings.
I have the Hero Black 11, I was testing the 240fps slomo inside my home around different lighting. I have found that I am getting a horrible light flicker in the slomo video, on the screen and when played back elsewhere. If you play it back normal speed there is no flicker, the moment you play it in slomo the flicker is back. Is there a way to fix this? or is this happening due to florescent lighting being around? And if it's the type of lighting, is there a way to stop the flicker around lighting.
Most AC lights are not on continuously. When you have a light on, it's only on half the time.
Where do you find the spot meter settings?

Hey Eddie, don’t think GoPros are the best option for this to be honest. Depending on the interview etc but you’d need a tonne of light to make something half decent.
