Thanks for the video. Not many 2wd auto trans removal videos for these. I have a Dakota that just lost the front main seal so this really helps instead of diving in blind!

Ive got a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and I think my front seal has went out as well. Truck will barely start to move when in reverse only. Fluid just leaks out from behind torque converter bolt area. Did u have similar issues?

Skipped thru to 8mins n i can't go on! I am not a master tech or the like I am some guy that's stripped and rebuilt an NA mk3 supra into a 600 hp turbo heap of an animal. Tuner turned MAGNUMMMMMMM punched v8 makes me crynslurr all the time guy having bow owned 5 2nd gen rams ONE of the biggest no nos in doing a 2nd gen ram tyranny swap rebuild put ur weiner in it then reinstall doesn't matter u plain n simple DO NOT pull ur trans off without the torque converter!! Leaving the torque converter attached to the crank hanging off the flywheel is for sure the wrong thing to do. Take torque converter cover off plus starter plus anything else in the way exhaust blah blah and very easily loosen one torque converter bolt then BY HAND crank the motor like one crank to show the next bolt relatively close to 1st bolt i.e. within the area the tcc cover plate ehem.. covers. All of the cranking is clockwise mind u. Always clockwise. Do this only 2 more times now and all 4 bolts should b loose if not removed on initial rotation. Then driveline removed obviously support weight of trans and tcc and trans should pull out as a unit and u don't have worries u bent ur flywheel or flexplate whatever its called or frigged up the CPS(the do-dad spoke of between firewall which is incorrec) its mounted on the back side of the motors crank in the little square cut out between where the trans meets the block. That part reads the square cut outs on the flywheel to tell ur "computer" the rpm of flywheel/crank output so it works with the sensors reading trans input output blah blah blah but a very important part non the less as ur vehicle will not function properly if this sensor is malfunctioning. But now that I've thoroughly came off like a jerkoff at least u took the time to post a video. My 2000 ram w 46re needs removed so perhaps ill bring myself to post a video to b any kind of helpful rather than bash others😢 my bad. But yeah not a good idea to pull ur trans off leaving the tcc hanging on ur flywheel. To each his own just regurgitating what I read in Hanes n tech manuals online the last time I did one. N yup u guessed it!! I left it attached the first time.... like a genius😊 much time later I did get everything reassembled and functioning as it should 🎉🎉

My 98 has 4 sensors but the harness has 6 and the last one on the tail shaft isn't the same
