Harry, please keep posting all types of content, regardless of popularity. It’s a privilege to learn from the craftsmen who restore your cars.
I'm with you. The Testarossa video was my fave of the year!
I second it and adding that 120k hits is not a bad result at all!
Agreed. Prior to youtube I was under the impression that as a passionate car enthusiast with a love of all things automotive, I was in a tiny club. UA-cam came along and I realized it was actually a HUGE club. But then I started looking at the comments section, reading what people say, and looking at the videos people do and don’t view, and realized my original impression was right. It’s a tiny club of passionate car enthusiasts, buried, quite unfortunately, in what sometimes feels like an avalanche of wealth, status and ego enthusiasts. Point being, thank God for the Harry Metcalfes and Jay Lenos who still make content for the rest of us.
craftsmen? its repair and bodyshop . they arn't building anything
100% with you 😃👍
Harry,
Great content as always, from your most dedicated viewer in the Caribbean Netherlands !
I'm on the island of Sint Maarten, only 36 Square miles but Big enough for me to enjoy my v8 esprit and a few others .... at least early Sunday mornings when I have the island roads to ...almost .. myself.
Looking forward to your 2024 content, all the best from the Caribbean
Brilliant!
Host a Harry road test?
Harry needs to visit!
You're famous!
What a legend!
The whole Zagato series was genuinely 100% enjoyable. What I found most satisfying is the deep personal meaning it has for you. What a story!
I saw the car and met Harry at the London concourse. Really special to see it up close, and Harry was an absolute gentleman who was happy to chat.
I’m happy to be one of the “hardcore” that love the restoration videos
Loved the Fulvia project, such a little gem of a car with a great sounding V4.
Same here and whilst I love the channel and Harry's content, I wish he had invested in some mics for the resto vids, could barely make out what the mechanics were saying sometimes 😢
@@ToddsReviews he has the money. he needs some rode mics
The resto' vids are the best, can't stand clarkson sw' that off
I love the restoration videos - to see the skills of the people who do it is something special.
The problem with that specific Ferrari restoration video was the poor audio quality, making it hard to follow. Otherwise they are insightful, and Ian has setup his channel based on the popularity
Restoration videos yes, sustainable fuels climate bs NO🤨
Please continue to do videos on restorations and motorcycles! Although they may not have the views of the others, you have have a loyal following for them!
The Jeremy Clarkson Collab was pure gold. Absolutely refreshing just listening to them both going on about them Rovers. Awesome camera work as well.
That was one of my favourite HG videos of the year too. Two car guys, talking passionately about a vehicle they both love. It doesn't get better than that.
You are too easily awed.
They need to find another car to waffle on about.
Maybe there favourite Alfas next??

Still the best in the game. 👏Can't wait to see what 2024 has in store for the channel.
I am one of those subscribers who really enjoys watching the maintenance and restoration videos of these cars. We get to see how they were designed and manufactured, their strengths and weaknesses, and how they work. I find them fascinating. Please continue them!
I'm one of the restoration video fans. I get why they're not for everyone, but I just love watching something be brought back to life, and seeing immensely talented craftsmen do their best. It's inspiring.
Alfa Romeo museum definitely my favourite video in 2023.
I guess I am that user from the Caribbean Netherlands. My mouth fell open when Harry announced this. Laughing out loud. I have to say I truly watch all videos from beginning to end - not just background noise...
Harry's Garage has become an essential time of week over the last few years for me. Great vehicles, extremely knowledgeable and likeable Harry, some exquisite scenery. Excellent quality production all round. Harry's Farm is just as good - I just understand it less!
I think I might have been your Dutch Caribbean viewer - it the views came from Aruba - I was on holiday in the summer I had a week to myself with no family and found myself filling time with books and youtube. Whether i'm in the UK or on holiday, I'm a car guy and was watching a lot of content. Your welcome :)
Harry, please don't start telling everyone to subscribe and hit the bell icon, it's a breath of fresh air in the world of youtube that you don't ask that, if people want to subscribe, they will, not because you asked them, you are easily one of my favourite channels
Subscriber from Colombia, south america, i thought I might be the only one from here!
Yesterday, we bought a 2004 Range Rover L322, because of Harry’s vids about this beauty, gracias Harry. ❤
More restoration content! I love getting to see cars get torn down and lovingly rebuilt by skilled craftsmen/craftspeople, that is a treat!! The long drives/adventures are also top-tier content as well IMHO. That 7-liter Aston video was my ultimate favorite! That you so much for your wonderful content, Harry!
I often think any comments or viewing habits of mine will get lost in the noise of the internet Harry, however this video of yours caused me to pause. I bumped into EVO magazine during the very late 90s in NZ before taking up a regional role in Singapore in my early 30s and being thrilled to find EVO at various airports and eventually throughout the region. It was an anchor of familiarity during a huge time of change. To say it had an impact would be an understatement. That's well over 20 years ago now, and yet here you are still creating, brilliant, quality content on this UA-cam channel, and I love it. I just wanted to say thank you Harry, and I would not be at all surprised if a very large percentage of your viewers, feel exactly the same way. Thank You 🙏 🙏
Dear Harry: Here from Chile. Probably the only one. Please continue with all the different kind of content, even the sustainable fuels. When the worst video has 119k views, you are doing something good. Thanks
Your L322 video pushed me over the edge and I now have a 2011 L322. Wife and I both agree it’s the best vehicle we have owned.
Views definitely helped having Clarkson in it. More collabs the better. Although Harry alone is still one of the best reviewers of cars new and old.
According to my screen - this was uploaded 3 minutes ago, but already has 400+ views. Shows the quality of Harry's videos, and lots of us look forward to our Sunday evening viewing :D
All the best for 2024!
Thanks Harry for showing us cars we would never otherwise see.
I have never not enjoyed a video produced by Harry M. Bikes, cars, tours, tech, Cotswold 'B' roads, farm fields, mountains or deserts. I love 'em all. The only downside is that Harry's succinct, informative reviews render the verbosity of others' largely intolerable.
Harry's garage, always worth a watch.
Harry’s watch, always worth a garage.
I really like the restoration videos, especially the ongoing xjc with its various niggles being ironed out...the EV content im not so keen on, only because the engine of a car Is so key to the fun/experience of driving for me. It should never just be about getting from a to b it has to be a journey 😊
I agree, I don't bother with the EV videos.
It may be the future.....(not sure that it wont become a white elephant), Its just not MY future.
If my dad was still with us, I don’t think he’d watch anything other than Harry and Iain (Tyrell) on repeat! Here’s to 2024, Harry. 👍🏻
My 'go-to' channel early in the week when I am on UA-cam and my wife is soaking up the adverts on the TV! Keep it up!
Restoration videos are, to me, all part of the fun. I'd imagine that most hardcore petrol heads would feel the same. Living and breathing your hobby/passion, pouring over workshop manuals, an unwavering appetite for knowledge, understanding how everything comes apart and goes back together again, spending hours under the car/bonnet, nothing much comes close to it! Look forward to seeing what's in store in 2024.
Congrats on the channel growth in 2023 Harry - well deserved - the best car channel on UA-cam - looking forward to what 2024 brings!
I also really enjoyed the coryton video so please continue to report on it as I know it’s a fast moving area and wouldn’t have even known about them without your video!
If I ever click on a Harry’s car or farm I always watch it to the end!… thankyou! And all the best to you and yours 2024.
Harry I am one of the "dedicated few" who enjoy the restoration shows.
Your channel and Iain Tyrrell's are the gold standard, imho. So much knowledge, passion and understated humour. And awesome cars, of course :) Keep up the good work! Greetings from NL (not the Caribbean, though)
I’m usually pro Italian cars but my favourite videos in Harry’s Garage have been Harry’s own Jaguar V12 coupe and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. I enjoyed the new Alfa Romeo 33 and the visit to the Alfa Romeo museum, but I’m a bit of a EV phobic I’m afraid . Look forward to 2024 content.
Harry's open mindedness regarding EV's is just one of the things that make him special .Like it or not here they come!
I enjoyed your variety of cars for 2023. Thanks..
@1:26 Harry, I'm pretty sure it's not me but I do watch your quality content every week from Trinidad🇹🇹 in the Caribbean and when I travel to Amsterdam for work.
Please keep up the authentic quality.
Please keep posting the nerdy stuff Harry... particularly the restoration work, a real treat to watch the craftsmen & craftsmenship involved.
Fascinating facts as ever Harry thanks for sharing… I am always amazed at the fact that not everyone watches your videos all the way through! I’m also surprised at your least viewed videos, but again I hungrily consume all your output and I think it is the variety that makes your channel the top of my watch list. The bike adventures, the restorations, the technical insights, super cars, road trips, please keep them all coming 🙏
Thanks for the shout out about the Caribbean Netherlands, I work out there in Curacao.
I also vote for the project videos. Love seeing the craftsmanship and engineering. Keep doing what you’re doing!
That EQXX is such a cool car. It looks good, it's small, it's nibble and then it got the longest electric range in the world. Really can't wait for that generation of electric cars.
Based on my knowledge, there is nothing really new-generation about this car. It is just very aerodynamic. And I do not think we will see cars like this in production. The main progress will come from new battery cells.
Watched every one all the way through as did my son, thanks very much for all the content, you filled a Sunday evening car shaped hole where old Top Gear used to be. Love Harrys’ Farm too, much appreciated.
Thanks for all the great videos. I’ll never be able to drive let alone afford the cars you review but it is immensely enjoyable experiencing them vicariously through your wonderful videos.
Harry, This was a fun episode....yes, 2023 was a good year for you. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
I loved the restoration videos, all of them. It’s facilitating to see how they were originally built.
I've watched all your vids Harry, and after hearing those stats, it seems you just need to keep making vids that you enjoy and we will all enjoy watching them ..
Spot on! When people start making content to appeal to "the masses" they lose what attracted viewers to them in the first place.
Hi from the Netherland Antillies (St Martin) please keep posting your great videos
Thank you @harry'sgarage it's a weekly highlight seeing what Sunday will bring!
For me Harry, COTY in the Metcalf garage is the Zegato. To see it completed and then the humongous grin on your face when you drive it is priceless. I know that feeling all too well. All of your content is religously wathced. No matter where I am. Thanks and best wishes Mike. In the Forest of Blackness
Man i love the restoration videos. Please never stop doing those.
i guess I'm the only one from the Philippines that watches Harry lol. love Harry's videos.. been buying imported evo magazines ever since 2008, i remember when hee brought his zonda to italy for new brakes and roadster wheels
Sunday evening and Harry is on. Do not miss Top Gear!
Thanks for another great year Harry, you are the boss! 👏👏👏👏
Great stuff Harry, really enjoyed following the story of the Lancia Zagato and the trip back to Birkenhead, glad you got to realise a childhood dream! Congrats to you and Charlie for creating the wonderful content, onwards and upwards! Would be amazing if you get to test Gordon Murray's T33. Cheers.
That Aston V8 Vantage! Think it would be perfect in the collection.
Another year of excellent videos please keep the brilliant resto refresh videos
Thanks for all your videos Harry, I watch all of them to the end because you are always informative and entertaining. Thanks also for encouraging Iain Tyrrell to make videos.
It's been a great year - congratulations. Every Sunday it's both this channel and Seen Through Glass I go to for the new videos - top notch entertainment!
Don't forget Iain Tyrrell! 🙂
@@stevemawer848and Harry's Farm 😊
Restoration videos are my favourite, And the bike videos are the least favourite but I don’t think that I missed a single video in 2023, Harry’s Garage is in in 2024. my top 3 video channels of all time 👍🏼 looking forward to seeing more stuff from you.
The most enjoyable video of 2023 for me was watching and listening to that glorious brute of a car from the 1970s/80s, the Aston Martin Vantage V8.
Thanks so much for putting in all the effort it takes to share these cars with all of us!
A big increase in viewings and subs over last year? No surprises there then, cracking channel! No such thing as "click bait" on Harry's Garage. Just a great mix of good honest reviews, tech based videos, restoration content and fun events/road trips. Harry's choice for car of the year wasn't mine but what the hell, there's something for every petrol head here!😀👍👍
I loved all the restoration videos, and, the Lotus Emira series.
Bravo! Thousand Thanks Harry & Co. !!
A great year Harry. Thank you, and more restoration videos for us.
Best channel on UA-cam.
Thanks for all the time/effort in making these videos Harry & Charlie.
A real highlight when the notification rings.
I’m completely here for a L322 full restoration
The sterrato is consistently held in high regard.
Love the stats Harry, thanks for sharing! What stood out for me was what is the most popular, Harry's favourites and what I personally like are three different things. I think your variety is the key, so please keep doing what you do!!!
Popularity and quality aren't always good bedfellows - look at reality TV. Or don't, if you have good taste and anything better to do! 🙂
Sounds like you've had a great year playing with all sorts of vehicles. Thank you for sharing those experiences with us. Who would have guessed your favorite was is world's only supercar equipped with a roof rack?
I love your channel most for the restoration projects, the technical background and the broad context from Fiat 500 to Bugatti👍😎
We watch all your content 100% of video. I love the restoration videos. Keep posting
Thank you Harry for so many wonderful videos. Please keep them coming. Happy new year from a very satisfied subscriber.
Congrats on another successful year, Harry. If I may draw light to a similar channel, more in approach than theme. There is a point to this comparison, I promise. I enjoy these types of channels. Facts, calm, no drama. I doubt many of your viewers will be aware, given the very different topic. But there is a channel dedicated to firearms and shooting run by a chap called Paul Harrell. Similar in style to you, expert, calm, masterful, not given to hyperbole. Paul released a video yesterday pretty much confirming that his time on this mortal coil is done. He has been fighting a cruel illness for some months, and although we the viewers lived in hope, it would seem he has lost the battle.
My point is this: Not aimed at Harry specifically, but to the viewers in general. Please folks, don't take your health for granted. If in doubt, get it checked out. Paul was one of the good guys, lived a healthy lifestyle, yet it got him. I think many of us here are men of a certain age, so the message is doubly important.
I am sorry for being a downer, and I am certainly not given to mentioning other channels here. But if one person reads this and acts on it, then it was worth it.
Cheers Harry.
Jon
I saw Paul's video yesterday. He didn't really say why his brother was taking over the channel, but I guess the pancreatic cancer has really taken a turn for the worst. Very sad. Great guy with great content.
UA-cam is business but please do not chase the algorithm too hard. The unusual and technical films add interest to the run of the mill car reviews. Keep up the great work, looking forward to 2024 (and the Farm updates)
The fact that Doug DeMuro named you as his favourite UA-cam Channel must have given you a nice Subscriber boost this year!
Fantastic work Harry. Please keep the restoration videos coming. They really are top quality, informative, productions. As a suggestion, given the L322 was so popular, how about a resto on your RR classic???
Most people want VROOM but many of us love the restoration videos.
Thank , Harry. Please keep on doing what you are doing. 👍
Thanks for sharing 2023, looking forward to what's going on in 2024
One clear winner for me Harry: Ferrari 288 GTO...I had a 'Trouser Accident'! 🤭 Best car channel on YT Harry...thanks for your passion and excellence 👍🏻 👏🏻 😄...but please keep the awful EV's to a minimum! 🤨
Have you considered that the Range Rover video got more views because of Clarkson being in it, and not the vehicle itself? :)
Looking forward to 2024 Harry, Charlie & Co! Truly looking forward to the videos each Monday (I’m in Australia!).
Great job Harry. Looking forward to the F50 video
I think the Land Rover popularity is more to do with having Clarkson in the video Harry. Would like to see more of you guys together 👍👍
3:50 - Clarkson wasn't in the first L322 vid that had over 1.1 million views. People love the RR it seems :)
Loved your video on the Merc EQXX - fantastic! It's great that the designers told you that regular door mirrors are more efficient than cameras.
Your restoration videos are great too. As others have said, please keep offering the full range.
I too love the restoration videos. I have learned so much including let someone else restore the car before you buy it.
I"m looking forward for more road trip videos, and off road motorcycling videos. I can't ride a motorbike, but I enjoy watching them.
Love the restoration videos.
Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹
All the best
The 288 GT0 is my favorite!
Thanks Harry and Charlie, what a year!
Brilliant channel. Keep up with the varied content Harry. I am one of the subscribers that loves the restoration content and follow avidly.
Keep on with the restoration blogs Harry, some of us like them and those who do not probably spend too much time looking at the pictures in glossy magazines lacking any substance or technical information
Hi Harry, congratulations on another year of wonderful and entertaining videos!
Sand blasters was my highlight of the year. So glad you are off to Dakar!
Bumbkaklaat! Hello from the Caribbean
So pleased the R.S.Williams Aston was fourth. Thank you and keep up the good channel.
That big Aston ist amazing! Plus I LOVE the restoration videos :)
I'm not a bikeist as a landrover owner might say but I do really enjoy them, I do hope they still will be featured from time to time.
