I can’t imagine what driving the T50 would be like. Under a ton, 12k rpm V12, 650bhp, and a manual transmission. I think I’d weep

Honestly I think best hypercar of the year is the Gemera. They did what everyone thought was impossible so they deserve the award
nah, that engine sound of T50 alone wins it and it's not even close
@@LetsBringThePain it’s a v12. you get it in other super cars. The gemera was originally supposed to have a 3 cylinder and is the first hyper car with back seats good enough for tall adults. Still they were miraculously able to put a proper V8 in that space. No one thought they would actually be able to make that breakthrough. It was unexpected but they did it.
Also we aren't gonna be seeing gemeras being completed until next year so it might end up being in the 2024 awards
@@Redswipe yeah sure a ground effect fan lol. The gemera would definitely be lighter if it wasn’t a hybrid and have so much modern tech. Seat heating and cooling, 8 cup holders, screens for front and back passengers, 4 seats, and that door alone is massive and a hybrid system with batteries which are already known for their weight.
If the gemera was to follow the same route as the T50, there would’ve been no comparison. It was made to literally be a family car for speed lovers and still weighs much less than most other super cars. The company is known best for their awesome power to weight ratio so for them to actually pull this off with that car is more than impressive
The IONIQ 5N is the best car of the year, introducing innovative electric vehicle technology that breaks the order established by existing supercar brands and showing the path for future high-performance electric vehicles.

@@ryangerrity2851 Being an interesting, collectable car and being a profitable car are quite different. To be a "disrupter", you have to be so successful that you eat your competition's lunch. I don't see the Cyber Truck taking much from companies like Rivian and Ford.
@@ryangerrity2851 so I waited, I guess under delivering on the 2019 promises, is a way of disrupting the market. $100k gets you 320 miles for the top model, when they promised 500 miles at $70k.
