Have you tried capital conquest yet? Pretty cool game mode where you select any country/region as your capital, then you conquer everyone else's capitals to win. You don't have to 100% kill people to win so it could work as a vote for peace as well
I like the risk content
Played a match last night and I had to quit after about 3 hours of playing 1 game. Me and other 2 guys were all evenly experience seeing we traded capitals so many times and I just ended up quitting because I had to go to bed for work. It's very enjoyable playing against good players, but darn the game can last forever. Each of us had like 2 to 3 100 stack units as well. The game can last forever if you go against the right players..

One think I do want to note is in the 1v1 you did could to slam reds stack with attackers advantage besides hoping you have the set on 3/4 you kind of just want to hard run your troops across the board claiming as much territory as possible over and over trying to get an advantage over your opponent till you have a trade

do you know why sometimes you can get 2 troops on a turn for free when you change from draft to attack phase? It doesnt happen everytime and i saw it when i played solo (just against bots).

Its part of the card bonus. If you look each card has a country on it. Upon trade-in, you get a bonus of 2 troops in that country if you own it. If you have multiple cards with countries you own you can only claim a single +2 bonus, which would be the first card of the 3 you cash in
You need to get better at placing the troops cuz that was just a mess

I used to play risk but bots screwed over one too many of my games
Like a person screwing over your game is fine but a bot that doesnt play the socail game and just breacka u is just a pain
