To keep warranty and increase your rwhp to 630 rwhp; Whats not to like? The S650 GT stock dyno = 410-420 and the Dark Horse is 430-446 on the dyno. THE blue Mustang 1:1 dyno performance was actually 656 rwhp. Add in headers (+30) & Borla or AWE or MBRP & you get 10-13 more rwhp. Yank out the carbon filters & add Lethal Performance air filters (not K&N) and you get 12-24 dyno results rwhp. So Stage I (keeping your warranty) you get 656 + 30 + 10 (H-pipe or catback) + 12-24 throw in some Boostang at each fill-up for a 93 octane and you have 716 rwhp Stage I with warranty!!!!!!! Go for it!!!!! Best deal ever!!!! Get real!!! Stop the BS negativity!!! The best driving daily Mustang ever with 716 horsepower to the wheels before tuning!!!! Incredible‼️‼️‼️😎
You sound like these vendors saying any and everything to make sales😂. It's a new gen mustang, of course it will be compared to the previous generations and on that point it's a disappointment. Be real, anyone with decent knowledge on the coyote platform should've been skeptical and cautious with how much vendors videos were pushing the octane booster/e30 numbers......it's still a 12:1 compression coyote, 800+whp on 93/booster or e30 is not a safe and reliable path for the long run
I also work at a mustang shop. Gen 5 3.0 whipple cars make 625-670 through stick shift. Theres always other factors like weather, how old the fuel is etc. automatic cars always make less horsepower. 15-20% drivetrain loss on a 810 rated kit should make 648 wheel. The numbers dead on, like i said everyone sees the power number the kit says and thinks it’s gonna make somewhere near that. To make 700 on a whipple car you better put a smaller pulley on it. Also if you’re making 650 at the tire and add 15-20% back into your math it comes out to over 800 wheel so 93 octane is plenty.
Man the fact you CAN retain warranty while running boost is wild honestly. Lots of peeps in other car scenes would love to have the ability to retain warranty 😂 shit any boosted cars from factory will deny you for a down pipe or something minor.
@@EarsPOV except you can easily mod the GT500 to exceed 900whp with just a couple of mods. Also that warranty only covers the powertain right? Ok so for everyone freaking out here’s the math… 480CHP plus 12psi is 868CHP, 15-18% Drivetrain loss is 710-730whp (they dyno’d 755whp with the stage 2, which for a dynojet that’s about right)… PER whipple they said the difference between the stage 1 and 2 is the throttle body and the tune is more aggressive… HOW aggressive? About 60hp worth of timing, RPM, and 20MM of throttle body… BOTH kits run the same blower pulley, it’s all in the tube and the throttle body… Factor in the mods the tests cars had and it makes sense So now take 810 and hack 15-18% off you get 630-650whp on a dynojet… nothing sounds off with the math…
How do you know the difference in tunes? Drivetrain loss isn’t that much with the 10R80 either. If people can view the files I bet they can make alterations and crack the device and upload it to the ECU. Why hasn’t that happened yet?
@@EarsPOV As a software engineer Ford could have required whipple to encrypt the tunes they provide using the vin of the car and some 3rd value provided by Ford. Just a guess and is how I would have done it to keep someone from just buying a single whipple kit and reverse engineering the tune software. Also whipple controls the software. The difference between TVS, positive displacement, and centrifical blowers and the amount of traction you can get with the tires you run and the surface and weather become extremely important. I would honestly prefer centrifical, and if going for higher numbers wouldn't even consider anyuthing but centrifical. I don't want to feel like I'm constantly fighting the car for traction and might die at any moment in a daly driven car.

Before you supercharge your mustang get the components around it. Etc.... exhaust, headers, fuel injectors, H pipes, engine work. Anything you can before you supercharge it. Which is going to bring up the power and torque a lot more.
A stock GT with cats and a Whipple stage 1 kit usually hit's around 680 to the wheels 700ish.. Thats still a huge increase on 93 with the cats and stock exhaust..
Something too is superchargers like whipple also give more torque. Most of the time tunes for ess gives like 480 MAYBE 500. I only have headers cat back and tune and I make 430 torque. So gaining ~50 torque after supercharger seems meh

He’s been discussing this since the release of the 2024 & the new whipple power claims. Very interesting and informative for to those who are willing to listen. Very cool car nonetheless!
I think it’s funny when people get surprised what the blowers make. The math works with drivetrain loss. Auto is always gonna make less horsepower. I’ve never ever seen a whipple car make over 700whp. They always make 625-670. Stage 2 kits always make more than the stage 1.
What were the dyno numbers NA on the blue car? Depending on the dyno there can be a huge swing! Everything that I have seen so far leads me to believe that the marketed numbers from whipped are achievable. As long as you have enough fuel it can get to 800 crank.

Not all gas is created equal as the tests done on 93 show shell and some sunoco are better just like better e85 stations. That being said the more you run the car ragardless of its tuned will adapte to gas changes by its self. Also dynoing in diffrent gears can effect the rwhp numbers by 20-30 rwhp on average. A factory car can dyno 10 rwhp diffrent from the exact same model so with dustin whipple corectong and advanceing the tune probbly monthly the more theses kits are out there. The more they will make via whipple and adaptive car learning.
I can agree the tunes for the Whipple Kits Stage 1 & 2 will probably be slightly different 6 months from now as more people get their hands on them and not just shops with cars that are already modified.

Going to be honest. Dyno numbers are extremely subjective lol. You literally can dyno 3 cars and then go to a different dyno and it's different. As far as 800 HP, people are crazy to think you can't run 800 plus on 93 🤣🤣. These companies been making engines for years so they wouldn't warranty something if they knew it would break. The 5.0 engine is strong and engine components are different in the gen 4. So it can do 800 on 93. The E30 is literally the regular ford factory tune that whipple took into account. The E30 tune is a safe guard due to pumps not having the consistency for E10 in 93. So E30 is a safe guard. To truly tell if you have 800 HP will be doing time slips or 60-130 pulls. Until then I'm not worried.
There’s not one 800+WHP SBE 5.0 on the road rn. I can guarantee you that bc nobody will tune that about of boost on 93. There is no E30 tune. They are just running it bc that’s what you can do before pressure drops on stock pump w/ supplied injectors. I agree the 1/4 & 60-130 will verify if tho.

You dumb as hell if you thinks 800whp on 93 is a good idea let alone warranty will be intact. Octane booster or E85 is needed for anything over ~680whp
I always call out these liars but there fan boys streamerlovers, some weirdo be protecting them and bashing me. Sometimes, i just say let me guess pump gass.... they start attacking me 😂😅😂
FYI don't supercharge it. There is a few turbo kits that will provide better quality results. Lethal performance has their turbo kit. Same with palm beach dyno.
Some of us want the warrenty!
They really screwed the pooch with that cluster and dash. Just awful. Prime reason Im not getting one despite the cost even supercharged.
That's a 10speed it'sb puts down power better
