What a time to be a Disney fan, Richard Sherman was the genius man for written the amazing song called feed the birds which was actually Walt Disney’s favorite, he was also the one who written the one in the iconic Mary poppins franchise. He deserved all the credit for this especially helping Walt Disney himself🥲
Two things I love about this short was that they got the original voice-actors to play the characters (if the VA hadn't died). So even though actors like Jodi Benson (she's 62) are going on in years, they still get to play their characters! ' Also Oswald was there! If they didn't include him I would have rioted.
I loved everything about this short. Even the underrated classics like The Great Mouse Detective, Atlantis, Meet the Robinsons and Bolt got the love they deserved. I will admit that their recent live-action remakes have been lackluster to say the least, but I will always have a soft spot for Disney animation. As for my favorite moment, I don't really have one. It was all perfect!
In this seemingly endless period of turmoil in the animation industry, I am so glad that something made by Disney is undebatably good! Hopefully all of this turns around.
What I liked the most was that it was Snow White who welcomed Asha (Wish protagonist) into the group photo. The first Disney film protagonist and the most recent one, like a passing the torch moment.
As a long time Disney fan myself, this is truly the best way to celebrate their centennial anniversary. Definitely better then Warner Bros’ TTG Special. 100 years of magic and their still going strong.
One thing i love about this short is that the character from Strange World appear in the short despite the movie was a huge flop at the box office. They didn't point and laugh at the character, they appear as part of Disney Animation history, which is amazing to see (Even thought i never watched the movie). They even add a character that also voice by Robin Williams (but silent in this short) was a character from Tv Special Back To Neverland, and i think this short is more of Animators from Disney idea.
I haven't seen the short yet, but I can really feel like this has to be the biggest Disney crossover ever since House of Mouse! With that many characters coming together, is 100% mind blowing, because we always remember them when we were young. That's the legacy of Disney baby!
Your rabbit oc looks very adorable, I love the design and expressions. Also the Once Upon A Studio short is honestly my favorite short they've ever made.
As someone who is a fan of their animated movies, and used to watch a lot of Disney and Pixar movies with my grandmother when I was a kid, this made me smile and cry.
The perfect hosts for Warner Bros 100th anniversary special could have been the Warners from Animaniacs. In their show, they practically live by that studio
Do you know how I think this short could've been better? If they got Glynis Jones (Mrs. Banks from Mary Poppins) to star along with Burny Mattinson because she turned 100 years old recently this year, she's probably considered the oldest Disney Legend, and she's been around just before The Walt Disney Company even existed! I. Am. Not. KIDDING!!!
You don’t know how happy I was to see characters from the black cauldron actually make an appearance especially Eilonwy herself I hope Disney can release the uncut version of the black cauldron to the public sometime
I'm glad people still like this short even in spite of how much everyone will bash on anything Disney related, even if it is a masterpiece because "Uh it's made by Modern Disney therefore it's automatically one of the worst things in the universe."
About Mickey's bittersweet moment with Walt's portrait, they played Walt's personal favorite song over it, and the pianist who performed this song for Walt in Walt's office returned to perform it once again. Now how special is that?
What Disney deserves to be; not all the pressure to deliver for fans of Marvel, Star Wars and The Simpsons; not to cash in on live-action boots, but in pure respect for what its original driving forces desired to achieve, and the excellent characters and set-pieces that make up the heart of the Disney catalogue. The cream of the crop that delighted me on VHS as a child, and could still do today if prompted. Whether Disney will try to put all its money into making the right decisions for itself going forward is still an ongoing concern, but this shows it hasn't forgotten its roots. Regards from the UK, Samuel Farris.
Hey Josh🐰 This was so magical, nostalgic, and very beautiful! 💜 Wouldn't it have been fabulous to have projections of it on Main Street and the castle to celebrate the 100 years of Wonder day?
That would've been amazing if they did that! Apparently the short is running at where Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln is. I hope that stays for a while!
@@regularjosh1 That's a great place, as well. My cast member niece did get 100 years of Wonder ears.💜 Nice gesture for the CM's. Thanks for covering this Josh!😊
I really did enjoy the short film what really did caught my eye that I really did get to see some very forgotten characters you got characters from The Black cauldron witch is considered Disney's biggest box office bomb and a couple of Disney characters from some of their most underrated movies this includes Atlantis the Lost empire treasure planet and The rescuers down under which I really do recommend those three movies those movies deserve a lot of your attention and do those movies absolutely deserve to have a cult following.
The Teen Titans Go special is what people thought Disney’s 100 year anniversary speacial was going to be. WB doesn’t have many original characters and doesn’t have a studio with an animated history like Disney. DC, Hanna Barbera, CN and others are all from studio purchases. Disney chose to only highlight the Walt Disney Animation Studio because they were the ones who gave birth to the company
Even though I probably would've made a few changes, I liked it and thought it was a very sweet way to honor 100 years of wonder. I wish they would've saved the Walt tribute for the end though, they should've ended it with Walt saying "It all started with a mouse".
Let me just say that when I first saw this special, I never thought that I would see chicken little again, including bolt🐶. Never in my life would I see a famous character like Mickey face to face with his creator. This is like a multiverse version of super smash bros but with all these iconic Disney characters. This shows to how far Walt Disney has come for his dream that turned into a reality even though it kinda sucks nowadays due to live action stuff😒
Bring back 2D, disney! The princess and the frog, the emperors new groove, Brother bear and Brother bear 2? Winner the pooh, Makes my music,Aladdin,Tarzan,Mickey & his friends. Mickey Wished his father pop out 😢
This is a celebration of 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studio. And, safe from the Baymax and Zootopia+ shorts and the Prep & Landing specials, they were done at Disney Television Animation, whoch is a separate studio.
Since you've already did watch the short film you need to check out Atlantis the Lost empire treasure planet and The rescuers down under those three are hidden gems in my book.
I have seeing it I love it I can't stop watching it and the ending oh my what a beautiful ending when I saw it the first time I almost cried of joy and my heart melted.
I wish can do more with my boy Tarzan I've missed him so much the dude only had a midquel, a spin off and a tv show that's not even on Disney + I would like to see a real sequel with the subplot being Jane is pregnant and Tarzan wondering what kind of father he will be and he feels so nervous about it but then Kala would give him some parental advice. I could picture the end of the film with Tarzan strapping his baby son to his back with his son smiling and he and Jane and everyone would swing through the jungle together.
But what did Warner Brothers do to celebrate their 100th anniversary? Use Teen Titans Go, one of the most hated cartoons in history, as a vehicle to celebrate their anniversary.
@@AnimationFanboy2k4 Finishing this video honestly makes me so angry because Warner Brothers could have done something similar to Disney, but they chose to do a Teen Titans Go special.

And whoever was voicing him was actually trying to make him sound like Buddy Hackett his original voice actor who passed away in 2003. This year marks 20 years since his passing.
This is the first time I haven’t been cynical about a Disney project, it’s the first thing in years they put out that had heart. Soul also had heart but I give no credit to Disney for that, that was all Pixar’s doing. Disney has been putting out dud after dud after dud for so long that it’s hard to ever really get interested in anything Disney does anymore because it’s most likely just a greedy cash grab and nothing more.
