- I made a desk organizer made of Dollar Tree *CANDY JARS*!!! This project was fun and easy to make. I love that it is clear and all of your desk supplies can be easily seen!

I would use them for.... candy! Hehe, i love those nostalgic candy jars! I remember a little shop i used to go to as a kid in the 80s that sold "penny candy" out of those jars! We would say "five gummy bears, five Swedish berries" etc, and they would use their little tongs to fill the tiny paper bag. 100 candies for 100 cents! I've been wanting to get some of those jars to play candy store with my kids (teenagers, but i think they'd love it!). 😊🍬 🍫 🍭

Definitely for candy! I grew up in the 60's and my local Mom and Pop store had penny candy but we got 3 pieces for a penny and the full size candy bars were 5 cents. Also, a small bottle of coca cola was 12 cents.
@brendasidmore2731 I love hearing stories like that! My mom talks about having 25-50 cents, and being able to see a movie, but having to decide between taking the bus home or getting candy or pop, all for less than a dollar! And how exciting it was to find pennies or nickels on the ground!! 🥳🥳🥳😁

Great idea! Will be very useful for birthday party in the candy table. I think I will divide and do two separate with 6 of the smaller and 2 big ones. I will put them in each side of the table.
A board underneath to make it mobile so it wouldn’t chance falling apart! Great job!
Hair ties / clips in the big ones and toiletries items in the small ones like barrettes, chapstick, sunglasses, lotions, nail polish, all those odds and ends that end up on a dresser😀😀

Cool idea. I am going to be getting a dedicated craft room soon. I can see these used for pom poms, beads, small jewelry findings, office supplies. Dollar Tree is definitely gonna be getting some money.

This is so cute! I think I would use it for sewing supplies. You could put fabric in the big ones or patterns, then in the small ones, some regular scissors, threads, charms, rulers, pins, or clips, interfacing, etc. So it can be used for about anything! Great idea! ♥️😉🫂🐾🦋🌹🍄🧵🧶✏️📓✨️

OMG! You did it! You made the VERY thing that would be PERFECT for my glue, Glue sticks, glue bottles, glue guns, tape and other adhesives. Thank you Thank you Thank you! I am excited!
So I will do 3 big jars and 10 small. I think doing 1 large then 3 small on bottom and 2 small on the top then another large and 3 and 2 and the large on end. (I have a lot of adhesives) Tape will probably be one large jar....maybe 2. I will try to stack it maybe?
I love this it's so neat!!! I love your videos not only because you are trying the DIYs with us and letting us see your process and what your thinking about doing and how it turns out. That's why I love watching your videos 😁. If I had a separate room to make a craft room which I do wish I did lol I would probably make this. I do have two of the bigger candy dishes i use one of cotton balls and one for q-tips in my hall closet. I just wish the lids stayed in better.

@@ThriftedLiving you're welcome 😁💕. I also thought about maybe ht gluing small magnets on the inside of the container and the outside of the lid to see if that would help the lid stay on and not always fall off. I haven't tried it yet though

Could sticky dots be used instead of glue? That way I could move it around if necessary and change the design to fit the need at the moment. I’m just not sure how secure those glue dots are.
